Title: Payment processor for blockchain based project
Post by: pandalionas on April 10, 2018, 11:13:54 AM
I am creating a product-service (web app) on the Ethereum blockchain.

Using my private key the app will be executing Ethereum transactions on behalf of my users, as it is a part of the service. For this service the users should pay with credit card or paypal.

The problem is that my app was declined by all payment processing services I tried so far (Braintree, 2Checkout, SecurionPay). I can not use Stripe as my country (Lithuania, EU) is not supported. I still have two applications pending, but I think that the result will be the same. They state that my app is in Prohibited Products List. I guess that is just because it uses blockchain.

So my question: Is there a payment processing company that would allow me to use their service to accept credit card and PayPal payments?

On the other hand, I can make my app completely free to use, but the Ethereum transaction fee still needs to be covered for the application to work. It should be covered by the user who is executing the transaction, but most likely this user will not have any cryptocurrency. Any ideas?

For PayPal payments, you can try CoinPayments (https://www.coinpayments.net/) (the end result should be different since it's a crypto based payment processor)
-Refer to PayPal Passthru (https://www.coinpayments.net/help-paypal-passthru)
