Post by: windgypsy on November 10, 2013, 08:18:33 AM
I have assembled the following information from various on-line sources and fashioned the following graph
to aid in extracting a table of ratios.

This graph of “litecoins over time” is a Gimp overlay of the Wikipedia image referenced below:

The Ratio of LTC to BTC will be 2 to 1 near January 1st, 2014 and clearly shown on the graph above!

(M = Million)

Ratio calculations based on Litecoin start 33 months after Bitcoin start, thus 33+12/48 (45/48) fraction used to calculate the percentage of the first 48 month segment of Bitcoin that intersects with Litecoin annually on the graph above.
Percentage calculations of remaining 48 month segments of Bitcoin based on 9/48, 21/48, 33/48, or 45/48 fractions.

I was initially impressed with the results of the graph overlay when it dawned on me that after 8 years
of Litecoin generation, the Litecoin pattern on the graph  from  63M to 84M mimics Bitcoin's pattern
from Zero to 21M.
