Yea, we are lucky that it happened, because Japan is very civilized and stable country, which may be leaded as an example for other countries. This is the beginning, we hope that there will be more country involved.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s never going alway, but the more we hear stories like this the better. It means that mainstream adaption is happening slowly. After last year’s bull run, tons of people know what bitcoin is and if this trend continues, it will mean success for everyone that is invested. That said, I would love to get paid in bitcoin at my place of work!

This is great for crypto currencies, uptill now many companies are offering the option of crypto currency salary payments to its employees, which is a sign of the coming mass adoption and major use case of cryptocurrencies.

Its a good thing large companies try to adopt the cryptocurrency trend but i think its not right to pay bitcoin because of its price change everytime Think of a scenario that after the company pays the worker with bitcoin then after a day the coins price dropped its  a lose for the worker and what if they really need that money so bad its a bad idea its not everyday that the crypto price increases

If a certain company pay bitcoin as a salary to their employee, well it is good for them, maybe the employer and the employees has a form of agreement that's why their company perform and implement to pay bitcoin as a salary. And maybe all employees on that company are also crypto enthusiasts, and likewise the company management also a cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

I read such an article long back also where the company was paying extra to employees if they accepted their salaries in Bitcoin.
No matter how good the technology is, as long as entire population doesn't have wallets to accept, how will a person accept it?
It has obvious benefits for the employer since he would be evading taxes.
The only concern I have is what if the value of bitcoin takes an extreme swing and the hard working employee loses a significant amount of his salary?

This is a really nice news to read. If only more companies would start to offer payment in Bitcoin, then the crypto market will go mainstream for sure, and this would mean a huge increase in the value of the coins.

The cryptocurrency will undoubtedly gain more support, and the application scenario will become more abundant.
But I guess people who get the cryptocurrency as a salary will not want to see the scene of a sharp drop in currency prices.There is still a long way to go.

it was not the first time we are seeing this,
actually some company already made this kind of movement and most of them were came from japanese.
as far as i remembered they're the first country who openly accepted it as a currency.
we could see that they made a move by regulating their own exchange so they could prevent money laundry that was why they made a decision to support it.
so it's not really surprising to see it actually,because we are expecting something more from the country who accepted Bitcoin openly.

Japan is the first country started to pay employees in Bitcoin and well now we can see they get paid for other cryptocurrency as well world is changing for better jobs and better wealth distributing mechanism

Cool.. I'm Glad with this news  that's enough to believe that crypto market is never end.
but I think companies need to provide other coins with lower fees to help employees for the low payouts, with that I believe adoption will grow especially among employees

Theres nothing to be amazed if japan pays all their employees by bitcoin,since this cryptocurrency is legal in that country,they adapted bitcoin as real money so whats new about this news?

What i was waiting is for other country to treat our community here as what japan treated us,maybe by the we will become worldwide currency and we will dominate the whole financial system

Well its not shocking since its an internet company.. so it adapted the newest technology.. It is a very good news..hope many employer will adapt it.. especially those who are prone with the new technology.. you were right it is an example that crypto will never die..

this is yet another example of bitcoin's real usage in the real world as a currency. it will help bitcoin's image and further adoption of it as a currency in the future.
however this has nothing to do with "cryptocurrency market" at all. the altcoins still remain useless when it comes to real world and until that changes the altcoin market will stay the same.

Good thing they will pay their employees in crypto currencies, but i do hope that all their employees knows the risks of accepting it as salary and the company has explained those risks to them and also signed up legal terms where the employees can not sue them in anyway if the market crashes or something bad happens. Many legal issues might rise specially FLSA laws (does not apply in Japan, not sure though) which might create a huge havoc.

If this is true, then its good news for the crypto world
it shows the general acceptability of the people to the blockchain world and this is vital as we all engage in crypto

it is very interesting and rarely teradi in other countries  and hopefully other countries follow.but the problem is that many countries forbid bitcoin as a legal means of payment like in my country,and I think in paying using bitcoin is advantageous for its employees.

I know this news already but still it's good to see positive news again and again.

If most of the companies will start paying salary in bitcoin, the crypto market will become healthier and this will make every trader to get more track on how cryptocurrencies will give them financial freedom and fortune.

If they are secretly developing these currencies then how do you know about it?  

If only US and other country could be that open and less complicate things about BITCOIN. I could work full time there, are they hiring?  ;D

This is a great intitative and a step further towards adoption of crypto.
But we  all know bitcoin is not always stable, so is the employees salary structure reviewed everytime to adjust to the current btc price?

The board and management of the company must be a bunch of great crypto enthusiasts.
It is a great ideai and I feel everybody in such capacities whom believes so much in blockchain can also do thesame, cryptocurrency will be mainstream in no time and there will be chances of your name being written in gold for being part of the early adopters of the blockchain/crypto.

Good to see a regular established company embracing bitcoin as a way to pay their workers. They will part of history as one of the first to really adopt bitcoin in the workplace. I'm sure others will follow and not just in Japan but in other countries as well.

Well actually this is a great news to see that in other company starts paying bitcoin as a salary and I'm excited to happen that in my country, I hope it will be happen in the future.

This article was on mid December last year, so I wonder how things are going now. They were suppose to start paying workers in February this year, so they faced the latest bitcoin correction. Assuming the prices will rise again, as they seem to be doing, those workers have the chance to be winning a lot more, if they hold their coins. The company however, could be paying a lot to the workers.

Bitcoin really needs to surpass this volatility, otherwise I think it will be hard for other initiatives like this to gather pace.

I agree with your view once crypto is more widely use either in salary or the company expenses, we will see the crypto market more expose eith in letting more people knoe or we can see more volume traded in exchange which is a good thing for crypto users.

It's nice to see that company starts paying salaries in Bitcoin but not in our country.Maybe it's not happened because we all know that the value of Bitcoin is not stable.If the government well legalized Bitcoin and had stable price.why not?

Japan is always advance and I hope other countries will start following too. But how about the tax?

Japan will always be the most advance country and hoping some other big countries will also do the same. As for me this can also help the market become healthier because lot of people are using it already.

This is good indeed,sometimes someones should start something so that things will be much easier,in this case some company started to show some good things that bitcoin can do,it is really going to get exciting as these companies started to show interests,im the public will surely understand how bitcoin is going to change the financial world.

Yes some japan country are already doing it for a long time now, and I believe with time, more companies in many country will follow suite too and this will make the bitcoin price to go up higher.

This only means if those doubtful individuals never give any sentiment or belief to bitcoin. Then one of the first world's country that legalized bitcoin and some of its company are starting to adopt it and pay their employees with bitcoin. Who are you going to believe? They see on how it's effective to start adopting bitcoin and get on the track race while it's early and it's not that too late because I'm sure of that they also believe that the price will start to reach the ceiling that is unexpected.

i think yes because other country using bitcoin to pay other transaction, the company' almost 4,000-plus domestic ... For many years, companies have been paying salaries.

I have a familiar programmer who was offered a payment in bitcoin or ether. He categorically refused  ;D.
The news is good, but I do not think that many employees will agree to receive their earnings in the crypto.

This is a good news for cryptocurrency market. The market will respond positively so the price will increase. Paying salary in bitcoin will be benefit for employee. Employees will get growing asset, if btc price increase.

This is something that we should be happy about. If this matter can develop smoothly, then it is likely to drive the participation of other industries. In that case, market conditions will soon rise!

Honestly, this is not the first time that it happened. In the previous years, there are companies that already done this activity. It is a big opportunity for everyone because there will be an interaction between every country. Other company can do the same. If they do that, the exchange of bitcoin will increase rapidly.

Once again, Japan takes the lead. No wonder they’re one of the most technologically advanced nation in the world. I’m sure other companies there would follow suit. I personally would like to receive bitcoin as a bonus or a perk.

I think its not workout because if company paying the salary in BTC then have problem to employees because once receive the BTC after that BTC price will down then employees loss there money so its not good for employees

It is a big step for bitcoin to become more valuable and maintain their coin purpose, and this is a good idea for their employers to have more salary for the reason of bitcoin can raise its value anytime and if ever bitcoin raise its value with them holding their salary there then obviously their employers has a salary advantage among others

Japan is the country most in need of cryptocurrency in the world. It is a very advanced idea. Other countries will keep up with Japan in 1-2 years. Japan is a very powerful country.

I think it is an optional variant and not many workers will choose it. Bitcoin is very good for dark market but for legal operations fiat currencies is better.

Yes it is just an optional and there are still many people who are lay with bitcoin so there are still many workers who can not accept or approve the statement, but please note bitcoin is not only good on the black market, if we can build bitcoin into something far better like hiring a worker with bitcoin, it will indirectly boost bitcoin growth much better and will probably have a stable price. With the policy, I think we should support it, because it is something positive.

I would not want my company to pay me a salary by bitcoins - suddenly on the day of payments the bitcoin price will drop by 20-30%? Then do not withdraw the salary, wait until the price grows again?  :D

I suspect that if bitcoin falls sharply, like now, will your employees still accept a fixed ratio of bitcoin payments? Wages should be a relatively stable payment. If it is me, I will not accept an uncontrollable payment method.

Several companies actually pay their employees in Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency. In fact, as far as I'm aware almost all ICOs have a crypto part to their salary, and many of the employees are working entirely for crypto. Right now, it's becoming less and less desirable as the market delves deeper into the red. However, for promising projects, it's certainly a reasonable payment option, the problem is even trash projects think it's acceptable to pay in their trash coins.

If that's the case then I'm going to Japan right away! I'd love to work and get paid with BTC, but you know there are pros and cons on between getting a work that will pay BTC and will pay fiat, if we get paid through BTC the chances are that the prices are low on that certain date or the price is high and will help you gain more, it's quite risky right? and if you get paid in fiat then you'll get that fixed rate whenever or whatever happens, though there will be no price hikes that help you gain more.

That's true. While, is great to see that some companies are thinking about crypto payments I think because of the volatility in the market they almost use it as a strategy to essentially underpay its employees. its  no surprise why some aren't very happy, its not yet a stable mode of payment and its risky still.

great news! people get more money without selling now! I think this is a wise decision! if you get 50k a year, then hold 1 year and you can get ~150k!

The thing is, this is their salary and they have bills to pay.  I'm sure none of the employees will be long term hodlers.  They will sell some of the bitcoins as they earn them to pay bills and buy food. 

I would not mind getting some of my salary in Bitcoin, as long as it was done at current market prices and it was no more than around 10%. For the moment is too dificult.

If I could get my salary in the amount in Bitcoin that is equal to my normal paycheck in fiat money I wouldn't really mind it.

But if it becomes something like this that in the contract it says your monthly salary is 0.5BTC now this is a bit sketchy, you could really lose (or gain a lot :D, depends on the market/luck).

That"s nice to hear that crypto is legally adopt by some countries,and if that maybr happened also here will many employees have become like an investors because they have to keep save/keep their salary in their wallets and wait for the high price  value in the market.
