Everyone knows that they are large and experienced players in the crypto industry. Few people know who these people are and how they achieved such success. What do you know about this?

Commonly they are early adopters of bitcoins which has acquired bitcoins when it was very cheap,talking about when it was less than a dollar,luckily these people are either enthusiast of they are just lucky people who stored bitcoins accidentally,but if we are talking about big players you should consider the financial institutions like CME and Wallstreet that are making our market more complicated because of their manipulations.

Whales literally are among the largest animals living in the marine environment, poised at the top of the food chain they are very vital to keeping the balance of the marine ecosystem.

Crypto whales are basically just like the animal counterpart except that they have lots of money and resources which they can use to make decisions that will have a massive impact on the crypto ecosystem. They can also be those who were chanced enough to buy massive amount of tokens of big crypto project early enough and selling them off at super low prices for profit

Those whales out there are the people who owns a thousands of Bitcoin from a different groups. Whales has a 4 groups and each of them groups has a different a nationality of their members and most of them are the veterans traders from forex. They are the ones who really controls the market.

I definitely agree with this statement. most whale money is old money that knows how to play this market from large gains and network from the very beginning.  If you started in Crypto in 2010-2012 it's very likely you have tons of influential contacts with a lot of media presence or buying power.  It's not so much who they are as what they do though, which is move markets with large volume to tank the price then soar it back up.

Whales will usually coordinate together to buy through walls of resistance to cause FOMO and then dump just as the hype train starts.. their positions are very large so they have to stack and hide their orders very carefully to get an easy out.  This is the part that's kind of funny to me.. if you see a sell wall people are backing off of its not whales selling their position, they're most likely out of the position they want and are looking to park the fomo into a correction. People know and react to the walls, but they're usually fake but by the time this happens their position is closed and they're looking for the re-entry.  One kind of important distinction I always hear people complaining about is why do whales sell and park the price so often without letting it run?  The simple answer is position trading several times a week in large quantities is much more profitable than letting the price run away from you.  Although you may make even a 100% profit trade this way, the price is now overextended and may take months to be back in position at the bottom of a position trade.

Simply put, whales move markets with large amounts of volume that they accumulated as an early adopter and used their knowledge of multiple years in this market and contacts to know just the right time to signal buyers into fomo then just the right time to get out before it's too late. Then once their support leaves it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy to correct until their large volume comes in to confirm to the smaller fish that it is time for reversal. 

Whales are essentially just the market makers of traditional markets.

Whales in the crypto world are the same as the sharks in the business. They are calm, reasonable, do not give in to emotions when buying / selling. There is only a cold calculation. I think that know a lot of information about them is almost impossible. And they are unlikely to advertise their names in fact. But the exchange rate is very dependent on them.

It's a name for people who got a big assets
With that assets , they can set the price of a coin
And if they want to setting the prices
They will buy on a large scale just for one type of coin
After that they will hold the coin and play with the prices

I guess Winklevoss twins are the whales that we all know :) Last info I heard about whales was about skype group where they exchange crypto / fiat without a middleman.

Achieved success? Whales are the ones that accumulated BTC early on in the game. Cheap. Some people mine tens of thousands of bitcoins when the blockchain just got started. People who took notice. Then they could buy 50 BYC of some coin. They pump it, make profit and dump it. They're the lucky ones.

Whales may or may not exist in the way that people say they do. I don't think there are too many billionaires taunting the crypto market. I don't think they are that bored.

Basically it's people who bought bitcoin a very long time ago. Or people who enter with a large capital in the cryptographic currency and repeatedly multiplied it. Or it is the exchanges (CEO exchanges) . That's all I know about Whales in the market

These people are the most greedy ones in the market,they have billions of dollars on hand that is why they can easily manipulate the market.They can do what ever they want to the market,so they can easily take profits from the newbie people who just joined the market.Most of these people came from the same institutions,financial insitute like CME and Wallstreet.

Whales in Bitcoin are the blue whales of the crypto markets. Whales in other cryptocurrencies may hold large amounts of a particular currency (like a big fish in a small pond), but would be swallowed up if they tried to compete with Bitcoin whales.

Whales are people who own large quantities of the coin/token and can control the price by putting up buy/sell walls. Whales can be hedge funds, rich entrepreneurs or even the person that lives down the street from you. This person could have participated in an ico and bought a large amount when the coin/token was worth pennies and 2 years later, the coin has grown and now their amount is worth millions. Now depending on the amount they sell, it can and will affect the price of the coin.

Not only in crypto market but with different markets such as stock market and other profitable shares where they have the power to manipulate.
I don't want to know more about them and I'm just addressing them as 'whale' and that's enough. What they do is manipulating the market and scaring out those weak hands.

The majority of them were old players in the crypto. But there were some people achieve this level due to the luck.

When they are investing in ethereum when it was no more than $1 and this time it will be above 420x from that price.

They achieved that through joined or to be early adopters in the cryptocurrency and you can see the richest person list in the cryptocurrency and how the majority of them putting a little money and this time it worth multi-million dollars.

Yeah, there are too many people who achieved success and became a millionaire through crypto industry, as far as i know almost all of them are investors, they invested their money in an ICO that became very huge and reach the hardcap, so that they got a lot of money from that Project

WHales are the ones who owned large quantity or fraction of BTC, most of them are early adopters of BatC that purchased when BTC price was very low, infact, below 1usd. They are not special human beings but luckily ones to stake the asset when they did.

Not all whales are in the same class.  Bitcoin whales are the richest and have more power than any other whales.  Every cryptocurrency has it's own whales and the higher the market cap of the coin, the stronger the whale is. 

The whales are the ones who bought btc in the early advent of bitcoin. They own a whole lot of bitcoin and are prone to manipulating the dump in order to buy more bitcoins at a lower price. They are investors who put in so much and have gained a lot already.

There are a few people who we can call whales. Whales are organizations mostly. I don’t think that a single billionaire would buy and sell coins on exchanges by him/herself))))

Whales are that we called a big mammals who are living in the marines industry. In bitcoin industry they are considered as the most experienced and the most powerful manipulators. They played bitcoin with so much confidence that makes them earned a big profit in return. When they decided to invest they really knows what are the most valuable projects amongst all.

Hmm! Whales are the determinant in every market not even only crypto currency market but applicable even in the real life. If whales decided to sell below normal control price, it’s sure the market price will fall and will surely affect the rest. Whales 🐳 can easily swallow little fishes.

A whale can be anyone who has money. Sometimes it's a group of people. Having a large number of any cryptocurrency, it is enough for China to start selling it at a lower price than the market one. As a result, inexperienced holders of this cryptocurrency panic begins, they sell it, and whales are purchased at a bargain price.

Whales in crypto are like whales in real world.

Those in the crypto world can change everything, their possibility are unlimited by large amounts of money. They can manipulated market and raise prices according to their needs

We do not see them, they are deep under water. But we can constantly nabdat their movements on the strong fluctuations in water flow. Yes, this market is very interesting for them. And I think that this year, there will be even more of them. We must try to guess their movements.

I could say that they are the Black Legendaries in the crypto world, their decision is the token's future by manipulating the movement of bitcoin. They all the the authority in every corner of crypto space.

As I know the whales are big players in the world of crypto currencies. They control the price of altcoins and especially in bitcoins. That's why their income is huge money.

My little understanding of these guys whales are those who influence crypto, because of their knowledge in crypto, and also they invest huge amount of money in crypto projects which is the main and major reason they are called whales.

They start off with a ton of capital to begin, which already makes them smarter and more savvy than the average investor. Combine that with the fact they will have better connections in the industry you can see how they will be able to crush and fleece those who don't know what is happening. I know of a couple of these people and they are the savviest of individuals I have the pleasure of knowing on this planet.

People have long analyzed this whole structure, so they have achieved great success based on their conclusions. Therefore, always need to consider possible failures.

I've just heard of them. Maybe they are a group of early miners, or institutions with a lot of money. They can easily control the market's rise and fall, often using the media to make FUD.

They are the ones who really controls the market. And they have large quantities of the coin. They can increase or decrease prices suddenly

In my opinion whales are big. Whales are able to eat small fishes. Whales can be powerful than small size. Whales can swim wherever they want. In this crypto land whales are the controller of the market price. They can possibly eat the small community holders of coins that can easily to manipulate. They have that kind of ability in the market price.
