Eth is better because of Vitalik Buterin, russian genius of our days!
Bitcoin is about to die. Too slow, too expensive, too UN-unonimus.

It is not right to compare these two coins. After all, they have different purposes. I am confident that these currencies will continue to develop as well. I hope that by their example they will motivate many others.

Ethereum is a cool technological project that has made a very big contribution to cryptocurency.
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency.  Digital gold. I like the low commission and good speed

Both coins are very different and I think everyone has their future in their own way. Therefore, I would say that neither is better. But the future will show us.

Yes, ethereum is much popular too in crypto world since it is the second in rank before bitcoin but i think it cannot overtake bitcoin because people are saving ethereum but then the target is to have bitcoin, and also as what I observed in the market trend that if bitcoin goes down and up the ethereum will directly move on proportion, so i think that is the sign that people are using ethereum for bitcoin.

Both they are better and these two coins greatly impressed everyone since from the start. They bring crypto into  greatness and to be know worldwide. Both parties have different uses and functions inside crypto, whem we look into prices eth won't surpasses bitcoin even in a thousand years. The unique creation of bitcoin really make these to be far from other coins.

ETH in my opinion. BTC is coupled to all coins however ETH has a use that far exceeds BTC. Finding the next ETH is key to becoming successful imho.. NEO or EOS that have advanced on top of ETH I feel is the correct route.

I don't think so. Till date, the history and present percentage over other altcoin is 45%. Ethereum is basically the payment platform for most ICOs coming to limelight but bitcoin has really gained the ground and preparing for other grounds. Ethereum's voulme in 24hrs in the business is far less than that of bitcoin.

From the beginning I have had faith in BTC and ETH. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two most popular currencies, with the highest value at this time.
I always believed in BTC because it was my first money to be confident, give me profit and know about digital money.
ETH can be considered as BTC 2.0 developed on BTC but will have no chance to overtake BTC. BTC has outstanding advantages in recent years, the way of recognition of the country has been proved. Some shortcomings of the BTC have been improved ...
I believe BTC will thrive further and affect other coin, including ETH.

Eth is the largest altcoin and has a very high level of popularity. For me etherum is a coin that is ranked 2 after bitcoin. Look at market and volume of transactions owned by etherum, for me it is very fantastic if Compared with other altcoin. As you mentioned that in fact I'm not sure etherum can beat bitcoin, because for me etherum and bitcoin are different. As we call usd dollars and pounds sterling we can not compare them in the same aspect.

What i like about ETH is the price of Ethereum is not suddenly drop when the big crash happens, that's why ETH is a good choice for a long-term investment,
What i like about Bitcoin is bitcoin is the mother of all altcoins now, it became huge and famous right now, no one doesn't know BTC, cryptocurrencies doing well because of BTC.
For now, i think ETH is better than BTC

Eth will have a chances to beat bitcoin on coinmarketcap. Believe me everything's possible on Crypto. But dpends on how will Vitalik release their best catalysts. I know bull run is near we will see which coin is going to moon.

I like btc and eth because I can get profit and friends. The explanation is simple, make profit because both have value and can use to pay my bills. Many groups take bitcoin and eth as their topic, I join with them and make me understand about crypto market from members that I call it friends. Which one is better is depend on your opinion, until now how much money and friends doyou have because bitcoin and eth?  

Both are good cryptocurrency,,
all of us know, Bitcoin is the king and without bitcoin maybe there will be no eth or others altcoins
so, Bitcoin will always become the king of cryptocurrency  ;)

I like both Bitcoin and ETH because more altcoin and token trading pair with it! I need more info about them when trading!

Definitely, technically ETH is more sound that BTC. However, BTC is like Arnold of bodybuilding. No matter what people follow, BTC will remain big for long time.

The enormous amount of Ethereum projects in proportion to the current popularity used in various aspects of the fundraising project in the ICO event, it is not surprising that it is highly favored by those who like token hunting if it is put into the market it will benefit them, because in the first position is still held by bitcoin with a very high price exceeds ethereum enjoyed by most people because of its high price and can benefit more from ethereum, back again each flavor both have their advantages in different ways.

Both coins are the leaders of the cryptocurrency market. They are different, but each coin is unique in its own way.
I invested my money in both these coins, because I think that they have excellent prospects.

Anyway, the comparison of both is not too okay for they are both absolutely different crypto. ETH is cool and I love some features of it, like the ability of building smart contract, accommodating of ERC20 tokens and the likes. Thanks

With the trend right now, I don't see these two coins have a great time. Its prices is decreasing and you should seek for alternative coins to invest with.

I don't find a chance for Eth against bitcoin. In terms of capital volume Eth might grow beyond bitcoin, but this won't make bitcoin to be the leader. To the entire cryptocurrency network bitcoin will serve to be the leader. Another thing is that the price will be always varying with a dependency on bitcoin. Among the altcoins Eth will serve to be the best.

Unfortunately, I strongly disagree. Vitalik Buterin doesn't make ETH better than bitcoin, the community does (granting that it becomes better than bitcoin). Bitcoin is still king while ETH has a lot to do with blockchain development, projects, and birth of neo tokens. People will decide which one to put their assets on - and I personally would chose Bitcoin over ETH as a representation of my money. ETH could be a practical tool to send value to my peers but at the end of the day it will always be bitcoin. People will get into cryptocurrency with bitcoins, not with anything else... not even bitcoin cash (well, for now).

Well, we all know the potential ETH has, and well aware that it will grow to be one of the crypto giants,Bitcoin however is just out of the reach still, its the crypto king and i dont see it being surpassed anytime soon

I love from Ethereum is from its gradual and growing development. from Bitcoin I like the price because the price is high, so for the holder is very profitable. I prefer Bitcoin.

For ETH fast transaction compare to bitcoin but in terms of big profit in investing I will chose bitcoin as it's really profitable by just holding it for a long time .

Ethereum looks better due to smart contracts, 50% new ICO projects are using Ethereum platform for their tokens. It's rather comfortable to hold all tokens in one wallet. If Vitalik will be able to setup shards technology then Ethereum could be #1, but wait...EOS is coming  ::)

I agree, both of it has different platform and in many pass performance of it are considered better. I believed that this two will be the leading crypto currency at all times. Bitcoin is the King of Crypto and Eth is the Queen of altcoins, perfect combination. For me, I wanted to invest them both because I see the better performance of it in the near future. Even it is both in the downfall situation I'm still willing to supporting both of it.

I like ETH because it has good platform to easily create our own token. It help all people who want to build project using blockchain.
And also ETH now have a good community, it's big and can againts bitcoin.
For bitcoin I like it because it's a major crypto and have a lot of pair in trading, it also have biggest community. But, bitcoin is too old and also the dev is so anonymous.
The transaction is very slow.
For me, ETH is better than bitcoin for now.

I think that ethereum will largely replace bitcoin. Because this crypto currency is trusted most probably than other altcoins

After POS stage ETH will overtake bitcoin for sure. But now we are on POW stage and this is not possible for now.
And also POS stake rates must be higher to gain more price. Maybe a masternode reward system and leasing will skyrocket ethereum price in few years.

Re-read the question, and they asked if the chances of Eth around bitcoin, and not what they are promising. Generally not the point I think that perspective is only one currency and it is btc. Eth has too many weaknesses.

I like ETH, this is a good coin that has many advantages, but BTC is the first crippling currency and it needs to be respected! I think ETH in future can cost more than BTC, because ETH is constantly developing and fixes its shortcomings, while the bitcoin remains the way it was created!

ETH project is very good.  He has a great potential.  My choice is in favor of ETH.

all altcoins have the opportunity to become bitcoin competitors. but it is not easy. I think it will take as much time as possible in a decade. even if ethereum has a long progress and new innovation in the future. essentially we will never know what will happen to the future about crypto.

both coins are arguably coins that have a big effect, and have large volumes on the market, so it's almost impossible to find another alternative if the two coins are priced down. surely a new coins will also experience the same thing

I think it's not entirely true to compare Ethereum and Bitcoin. In these two coins their purpose are different. I think Bitcoin's biggest problem it is slow. But I believe that Bitcoin will continue to be king in this crypto world. Ethereum will be the second best coin.

in the world of digital currency ETH and BTC are equally good, because they have different vision and mission.

I love Ethereum more. because Ethereum has a smart contract. The speed of transaction processing is very fast. And is the foundation of a lot of altcoin. And the price of Ethereum is much cheaper than Bitcoin. So I chose Ethereum

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum have different target markets, and both have the potential to grow even more. I think both of them are very important in the future. I think we should invest in both of them to gain maximum profit.

I prefer Ethereum because my first pot of gold was earned on Ethereum, and I know more about Ethereum, so I still choose to invest in Ethereum, which I think is a very good currency. Ethereum is having more use cases compare to bitcoin . Most of the token out there in market 90% ethereum based token . Even maximum ioc’s Are choosing ethereum blockchain solution for their project . Ethereum is widely used crypto currency after bitcoin . Bitcoin oldest and original form of crypto currency which is accepted by across the world . Even most people knows only about bitcoin. Finally I support both bitcoin for its original form and limited supply . Ethereum for its wide usecase.

yes,i think eth will win btc and replace btc in the future,eth is faster,cheaper, smart contact of eth is use popluar in the crypto,i hope eth can strong grow up to take over btc soon,the market need many coin grow up to lead whole market more grow up,now market dependent btc and it is not fair

Many choose  the ETH because it is the best altcoin for now and sees a pretty good price growth of course the system is owned Eth is qualified. The birth of altcoin is the fruit of bitcoin including Eth and both are closely related, the bitcoin that is now yet to be defeated by altcoin, still number one

I think both bitcoin and ethereum are all good cryptocurrencies that are leading the crypto market. To get the most sufficient profit on your investment, I would choose bitcoin because it's growth in price is way long comparable to ethereum coin. In terms of blockchain technology, eth dominates all the crypto currencies where this eth currency has been adopted by many big corporations in their business applications.

Why are people always trying to compare Ethereum and Bitcoin? For me is not important which one is going to be on top of the market cap. Most important is to have good run and stable market.

Yes off course, ETH has always a chance to outperform BTC in other areas maybe or when BTC is going to decline. But no BTC is the King it always dictates the movement of all altcoins. But we are still uncertain into the future so still can not day, but ETH is always have the chance.

Really you think that ETH is really great and bitcoin is not, why did they were forced to hard fork and have two coins basically, it is because someone took advantage of the flaw it had or basically they forked when they were hacked  :P , you wont hear about a situation like this with bitcoin . The purpose of both these coins are different too, so no need to compare them.

People always compare btc and eth until this year they might see a potential in eth. Btc has always be the best for all of altcoins so no need to compete this two in the market. They has features and benefits to the users if investing both is okay because they are profitable.

Well, BTC has the s grip the strongest grip at the top of the crypto market pyramid yet it hasn't reached it maximum growth limit. ETH isa good coin with future promise but i don't think it can challenge BTC anytime

Bitcoin is a unique coin and very important in the whole technology and it is not very correct to compare them. For me, of course the ethereum is more modern

I like eth because a lot of tokens are built on its platform and with sharding down the line, eth will be a good coin to hold. Btc is also good but I'm worried in the future when more exchanges start letting you use fiat to buy altcoins, this will push down btc and eth prices down as you won't need to buy them to get altcoins.
