What is the Neo future?  How they can compete with other smart contracts?

NEO is a good potential platform so we don't worry the Neo future it will always best investment for investors. This year also huge pump is expecting in all the Cryptocurrency so we should buy know this will reach 3x profit in soon. But many big whales are involved in Bitcoin investment this will lead the Crypto market so better invest in Bitcoin this will always safe.

I think in the near future NEO will grow. NEO is a very good currency supported by the Chinese authorities. Now is a good time to invest in this coin. I think by the end of the year we will see the course at 170 - 200 dollars.

It is the rival of ETH. Compared with the highest price (~ $ 160 early January), its current price is not much reduced (3 times reduced). For Cardano is ~ 5 times.

Neo is already competing with ETH.  If you take a look at how long it took for eth to onboard companies and compare it to neo, NEO is actually far ahead.
Of course, ETH paved the way to make it easier, but the growth of the neo network is pretty phenomenal.

Now, we have our first NEO decentralized exchange coming up: NEON (think idex or etherdelta bu for neo tokens).
At this rate, NEO will be in a position to tackle the top 5 by the end of the year.

I believe this is terrific for the market as well.
There needs to be serious competitors to ETH that can actually walk the walk.
You've got so many theoretical platforms (ahem...ADA) with tons of hype but there needs to be one that actually works.
This will push eth further and encourage development on a lot of the problems inherent in these types of platforms.

So, the short answer is, neo has a terrific future.
I would highly recommend buying now.
In my mind, anything under $100 is a good price, as neo will most certainly shoot to 1000k this year.

NEO has one of the best futures of all the altcoins, and is really the only available competitor to ethereum. Great products like ONT and THEKEY are on the NEO platform and you can expect a lot more in 2018, definitely a good time to get in before it hits 3 figures again.

I also think that NEO has a great future and eventually will replace the Etherium. I have about 9 NEO coins in stock, but I want to buy more.

NEO is an asset platform not a smart contract.  It will compete with other asset platforms. So far Ethereum is in huge lead, but there are plenty of other asset platform chasing Ethereum.  Counterparty, NXT, Waves, Lisk, ETC, Cardano, Omni, Bitshares, Qtum, Stellar, Ubiq, NEM, Ardor, NuBits, ...

I think the future of NEO is a bit worrying because so far I still rarely see NEO used as smart contract unlike ethereum which is very often used then I think NEO can not compete with other smart contacts

NEO is future ETH. In my opinion, if they are 10 or 15 coins in the future, NEO will be one of them. The current price is around $ 60, which will be at least $ 200 by the end of the year and the more you buy, the more profit you get. But not the only NEO, there have another altcoins which more potential like a NEO.ex: MAN, VEN, EOS, ETH.

I think NEO has all the prerequisites to become the most popular platform for concluding smart contracts not only in China, but all over the world. In terms of capitalization and popularity, NEO is already in the lead, so competitors with the same functionality will be in the role of laggards. In order to replace or circumvent the market leader Ethereum, there is everything you need: transaction speed, scalability, small commission, etc. One of the key factors will probably be the introduction of certificates of identity cards when signing smart contracts, which will bring NEO to the legal level, and hence the use of large corporations, and recognition by states.

In my opinion, the future of the project looks confident. An interesting development of NEO is NEST - the first "smart" blockchain. NEST is based on NEO, which uses smart contracts. The project is designed to facilitate communication between the parties performing this or that operation, as traditional intermediaries often bear greater risks.

Definitely, the team has long term plans and robust future proof systems. With regulations stepping in soon we may see bigger things in the near future.

NEO is the best platform if you consider security and TPS (dBFT). Seed funded a lot of good projects. Growing its dev community with events and meetings all around the globe. And by now it's the platform with the wider range of languages available for smart contracts deployment.

After China became from a friendly cryptocurrency nation to cryptocurrency hater, I think that neo doesn't have a place in the cryptocurrency market.
The whole NEO team is based in china, and the main purpose of the network is to provide ICO solution to chinese projects.
But as china makes it really difficult to make a chinese ICO, most of the projects are now based on other countries, a thing that dramatically make NEO weaker and hurts it's ecosystem.

No Doubt that lots of the better better technology coins are entering in this field of cryptourrency but here we have particular numbers of the coins which are allowing us to make perfect Investment with better potential , and here neo is perfect coin with better stability with which we can make profit by Investment easily by holding it for long term .
And also after etherium we know about neo to create tokens of coins to create new altcoin , so Surely its technology and success is like bitcoin and etherium have  to create new cryptourrency in market .

neo made a very nice rise in January. but those times are way below the value. I do not know what the future will be. but a nice coin.

Could be up or down I'm not sure of it, I think there will be a lot of competition in the smart contract world.

NEO has so many question marks, the only thing I think is working for the platform is the Chinese market apart from that nothing, and another thing I observe is the partnership they are having with some good Dapps on Ethereum to make them compatible with NEO platform also, if they can convince them to stay on their platform that would be great

NEO was one of the best performing altcoins in 2017. It has a lot of prospects. I feel Neo will also be a solid investment if looked into. If this coin is developed further, it will increase its reputation in the crypto space. What makes Neo compelling is its approach to scalability to an Ethereum-like platform.
I perceive it will be among those that will lead in this 2018.

I think NEO is good coin and it is looking very promising, I think its price will increase rapidly in this year. Because it's platform having block-chain technology & support of strong Chinese community, So buying NEO is good investment. I think It can give 3X TO 4x returns on your investment by the end of 2018.

there are platforms that can create an etherium worthy of competition. The NEO platform is a direct proof of this. I think NEO has a future.  Especially now it is very well supported.  I think soon we will see significant growth.

NEO is good for long term investors because NEO is the promising project and its China ETH, now its starting stage but its going up slowly, in coming days it will developing like Eth.

This is a good question and in my opinion,I think NEO is the best coin(apart from bitcoin and ethereum) to invest in right now(I personally did).
You wanna know why?
1)Holding NEO gives GAS.. All of us likes freebies,normally I am not a long holder but NEO is the only token I have been holding for month,for the simple fact that even in my wallet,I am still getting dividends in the form of GAS every single second,no other token does that,another oken that comes close is Kucoin Shares(KCS) but to get your daily dividends,you need to kee the token in the Kucoin exchange and w all know that it's not advisable to keep tokens in an exchange long-term.
2)NEO has a wonderful blockchain and enables fast transactions with low fees,infact there is 0 fees if you know how to do it.
3)NEO is 100% supported in China.

I think there will be more and more excellent projects, so the first problem that these projects need to address is throughput.
Because Decentralized will reduce throughput.

I don't expect much on NEO. but it is indeed its development a few months ago quite inconspicuously. But if for the future they should be able to have advantages if it is to compete with the others.

I am starting to see more projects choosing the NEO platform but Ethereum still gets 10 times as many. For me the jury is still out on what sort of future NEO will have long term.

NEO’s consensus mechanism operates faster when the system is centralized. It uses a consensus mechanism called the Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance, in which nodes that can verify blocks are designated by the network, in this case the NEO council. Da Hongfei already announced that the number of nodes will expand over time, making the network more decentralized.

Recently the NEO blockchain was brought to a halt for two hours without an increase in the number of transactions. One of the limited number of NEO nodes didn’t respond, causing the blockchain to stop. It's so much topics about NEO future. Are there doubters that this coin is solid? Maybe without multi profit but with guaranteed results in long-term. Buy-n-hold is excellent strategy for non-traders.

NEO is one of my favourite Altcoin in cryptocurrency market, this is one among top 10 Altcoins. It has very good project and rapid development is crytomarket.

I will say more, many believe that NEO can replace the Etherium, steal its popularity and capitalization. I'm rooting for NEO with all my heart.

I think NEO definitely has future. It is a good platform, supported by China. A lot of cool projects were made on NEO. The last highest rise was in January. Probably, it is good for long term holding, I think NEO is quie prospective.

much speculation says if neo will surely overtake ethereum. but I can not predict that we can only see it in some time ahead and certainly will continue to happen.

NEO is called the "chinese ethereum" and it is also a platform for smart contracts that is, unfortunately, not really decentralized. Neo is a product from China, not official but i think Neo is building by China goverment. And we all know, China is the country with most people, lots of chance to grow a startup there, lots of things need to build.... So the potential is too high and Neo price still low, worth to buy more.
