Yes, you need to pay a fee, but there are two options. You can send your data through the node network, in this case the fee amount depends on the data size, its storage duration inside the network and additional anonymization parameters. So sending oversized data may cost too much. Additionally, the network will include a number of features providing a protection from overload, so too heavy transactions may be probably rejected by the network.
The second option is a direct exchange between sender and recipient. In this case you'll need to pay a small fee only to establish a secure direct channel between you and the recipient with no bandwidth limits.

We are finally ready to announce that the network will launch tomorrow (April 23) at 12:00 PM UTC.
Please note, that we made a minor change in the first rewards thus the first 100 blocks (~3h) will have a reward 1 LINC. Starting from 101 block the reward will be 25 LINC as it has been announced. The wallet will be released right before the launch.

what happen with my balance? where is my old balance.

I was mining from Day 1 and Mined few coins. I think this coin will stay for sometimes and I heard that a solid team is working in this project. There was some hiccup and at last the network is settled now. I am ready to start a shared MN for this coin. I have around 600 coins and I think it will be a great journey if we can start Shared MN shortly.
