Is it the day now of Reckoning or just a simple pump and dump to all cryptos?

 

i'm sorry but someone who was losing money just because bubbles were bursting and the overall prices were going down should not be called a trader. they are newbies thinking they are trading.

to this point it is just a recovery after a very long dump and for a lot of coins this won't last long enough to turn into a pump.
and it is somewhat a bad sign because some of the bigger coins are still in bubbles which means any more rise increases the size of their bubbles even further.

I also don't believe it is a real recovery. It is just a rebound after the big dump. But it is a nice rebound.

When the whole market is trying to up we really can not call this act as an pump and dump act . What I see is a try to turn the market trend to an uptrend , Now if this fail then it will be just a rebound or a try to recovery . It is still early to judge if this rebound will turn to an uptrend or not , The couple of coming days will be the judge on this specially after the weekend . if BTC managed to break threw certain levels we might see nice long uptrend .

I think that the upswing of yesterday and today is a good sign. The whole market downward trend has been going on for a few months now. The problem was that the December/January rise was too rapid. There was always going to be a fall, and the problem with a rapid rise means that there is no established solid base to fall back to. The market has been dropping in search of a good foundation. It bounced back twice from about $270 billion, which suggested some strength at that level. In the last few weeks we dropped a bit below that, but have now bounced back again. Every time we bounce back, the base at around $270 billion grows stronger. Once there is sufficient strength there, the market can resume its steady upward trend.

A very well said mate, as a final verdict, is this uptrend will continue or just a bubble and will be back to downtrend anytime or it might be stable and slowly reach the heights of december trend?

This. It's still a little early yet to see if this is a market recovery or not. The next few days/weeks will be vital. Hopefully everything is on the uptrend and this huge slump we've been in is finally going to be over. It's been pretty bad the last few months. Feel sorry for anyone that invested back in December/January

Everyone believe this is a bull trap, they expect the price to go to maybe 9000 and then the real dump will begin. So in my opinion it's not going to be a bull trap, always think the opposite of what everyone else think, this can be the start of the next bull run to 2 or 3 trillion total marketcap.

Hard to say. I am glad that the growth began, but too many positive news, this is alarming.

No this is not the day for recovery yet. price is rising and falling.Some may think this will be the bull run but i think this is only bull trap

The new pump in price could be a good sign of new price movement and it be determined if the Mt. Gox have dumped the 202,000 bitcoins they want to us to fix the previous hacker accident. Therefore, if they haven't, we should be expecting another dump in price soon.

Nobody argues that there will be corrections, but the fact that the fall has already changed and the market has become a bit bullish is a good sign for further investments and joining of new participants. The main thing is to return at least half of all the losses.

I hope this will continue in the same way and we will be away from our 3 month psychological problems. If we continue for 2 months, we can see the old level.

This may not be strong enough to call it a bull run yet but it could well be the end of the bear market.

I think that's a good sign and can be considered a simple pumping that will lead to slightly different price movements, which are no longer overwhelmed with the same redness as before.
I don't think there will be too much stuck on the crypto price movement for the next because it seems that there are many people/many factors that will move all the movement to the greener.

Base on my observation for almost 2 days since the market goes green, I saw one thing, for example the eth price.. yesterday it climbed for almost 530usd but an hour ago it goes down to 489usd... I analyze the movement, the 489 is the most downtrend of eth, then it recovered immediately and now stable to 500-520usd for me it's a good sign and not a bulltrap..

I agree with what you said and I believe the recent market bullish was a reckoning not bulltrap cause the market is still despite the fact that the market cap are closed for the weekend. In addition, is already been predicted that the market recovery will start from this month.

I believe that was more than just recovery. But I don't demand is good enough to start bull move up ahead. I think it won't turn into a trap but it will kill oversold status of many altcoins and pull them to reasonable prices.

I would say it do starts on mid January as far as i remember where the bearish trend begins and coin prices starts to go down and now we are seeing greens again but we have seen some similar movements on previous weeks this is why im not really too confident that this would possibly be the start of a bullish trend.Presumptions and views about this matter cant really be avoided into this very speculative market.Anything can happen at a time, pure reversal or fake out just be sure to enter smartly.

Hey still we didn't achieve the 10k USD mate. Please check the price chart in all these dump month. At least for week of time bitcoin and all the crypto currencies bumped to better value and then only we are seeing less value back to the market.
As like that we may expect the bitcoin value goes to big for certain on this month as well and again fall in the market.
Personally I expect bitcoin to touch it ls peak value again with this rally.

Wow, why are you all so in a hurry for seeing everything in a giant a huge green again?

I am more than confident in that the time will come, but we need to give it some time guys, this is still not the moment and the day in where we are gonna see bitcoin over $10k.. Be realistic for a while.

I don't like the title of the thread "Day of reckoning", there is no doubt the market have suffered a huge loss from the ATH we were few months ago, but for me, we have seen a new light in the market and the whole market is responding positively now, all we need to do is to sustain this recent gains for more weeks and change the negative news to positive ones

I think we are not in a hurry, but we only saw a little hope this past few days, all of us are  always hoping that this market trend will be back to normal again..

Bitcoin and altcoin prices are still fluctuating, still rising and falling in close proximity. If I say this is a bull trap then who will happen is when bitcoin price goes up with drastically like yesterday up $1000 within an hour then the drop will be too drastic. But now the price of bitcoin and altcoin can still be said a normal situation, I can not yet make sure it's just a temporary pump and then it will dump like last month, we can see later but I hope this trend will continue to increase.

not yet know for sure whether this is merely the pump only or indeed increase. whatever that this is enough to make a new hope for life and may return crypto rise it will be gradual.

In the last few days most of the cryptos have been green but today most are in the red. Think we have to accept there will be fluctuations on a daily basis.

Don't deceive by it's color friend, for example the ETH chart is -4.24 but the price is still stable of $508.34 as you can see before, the red color totally affected the price, but look it again and analyze you can figure out that it could be a correction of the price.. Just hold on it will take off at any moment!

sometimes data in coinmarketcap couldnt be  as benchmark.it says red but actually in chart we could see it is actually just correction.this normally into market cycle, and dont worry about this.

Exactly!! many are mistakenly seeing it as a final data chart, not knowing that behind the chart there is a correction ongoing.. Well I hope that many of us here learning in this discussion..

YES I really do believe that it is really the sign of bullish market. This is really the start of the high price and this the start of our winnings again. I know that soon it will be more better and we can say that It's really worth waiting for. Those who hold and buy while the price of crypto is really in the drop they will soon happier and great.

I'm not sure it's a coincidence or an annual cycle, I believe there's a factor affecting the price of Bitcoin. it is possible that this is the effect of the World Cup and IMF issues that are getting interested in Blockchain.

Crypto market is doing very good for last many days. Bitcoin is getting close to reclaiming $10,000 mark so all seems well for near future.

Seems that the market goes red again, what do you think this current movement, is it giving chance to those who want to buy cheap or the whale is intended to lower the price to buy more from WEAK Hand holder?
