The whole market is jumping up, but 1.50? Please... This would mean another 100% and Ripple is not even a real crypto-currency. It's OK only for speculations.

The only possible option for Ripple to reach 1.5 is Bitcoin to reach 15K.

I don't think it can hit even 1$ today. The upswing from today is caused because the Bitcoin's upswing, which is influencing the price of all the coins.
So there are no great news about Ripple, for it to increase so much.

Ripple is a banking support project so it is totally against in Bitcoin. This is not a good investment in Crypto platform so I don't care the Ripple hype. It is anytime raise or fall is happening in Crypto market. The best idea is just avoid the Ripple investment because we don't predict the future of this coin.

Today's ripple will probably not reach such a price. Although the speed of altcoin is very fast but now they are rising slightly back. Perhaps in the next few days the ripple will reach the price as you anticipated.

It will struggle to reach $1 this month, much less $1.50 today. I have a bit of XRP, I do not mind saying so, but purely for speculation as I believe it only has to reach old ATH for me to sell for a quick profit. Today jumped like every other coin. Even the big Santander news did not seem to lift it out of the $1 zone, but we already knew banking with Ripple no longer means an appreciation for XRP.

I think in the near future we will not see a ripple even for $ 1. It's too early for a pump ripple)

The market is slowly turning back to $7500 BTC and the alts will follow it so I don't think we will see $1.50 XRP today.

Just think about this. There needs to be a 80% gain in price for Ripple to hit $1 today. That's not happening. There needs to be over 200% gains for ripple to go from $0.6 that it is at right now, to $1.5.

Ripple is still overall bearish, and on its downward slope fro the huge pumps at the start of the year. I don't see it even hitting $1.5 in a week, let alone a day. Yes, the markets had a huge spike, doesn't mean prices can go up infinitely all of a sudden.

There is no such news that could boost Ripple that high. Due to its latest issues, it might even grow slower compared to BTC and ETH because they have lower and mor solid base

You can trust it and you'll become a panic seller soon when XRP price dump a lot right after you spent all your money to collect XRP :). How it can reach to 1.5$ in just one day while its price is just 0.64$ at the moment? I think XRP need a miracle to be able to reach to that price today :))

Well this thing is possible but I think its too much. XRP is a centralized coin and if hit $1.5 today for sure the price is being hype again and they will drop it again when everyone is in, thats how they make money in the past months.

Perhaps coin is indeed being up, but will not directly high. each increment is certainly very gradually and naturally, XRP will not quickly reach the price. Maybe in a couple more weeks to hike prices that recently occurred.

I have never been interested in XRP..It's impossible for the price to be $ 1.5 today..Even at the end of this month it does not seem possible to reach this value..But hope will reach the value to please its investors.

I was watching the Ripple value today. It was 0.4-0-5 before, today reached 6.8, not even close to 1.... but Ripple had great growth percentage today, although seems down back to 6.4....

maybe it is realistic for current market conditions. but there is nothing wrong if the prediction Ripple can come to a price of $1.5 because it includes good news, and it may happen, and certainly not the case today

XRP is obviously the future new tech that works and makes human trading across the world much easier. In human history, new techs which make life easier are accepted all over the world on top of that everyone can make money so it will increase and even mainstream has started to accept so now its the boomtime!

This is how the market should change so that the ripple so rose. Judging by the fact that stabilization has just begun, its movements will be extremely small, a few cents. And in general all the forecasts that its maximum price at the best moment is only 1 dollar.

OP's "today" has come and gone and XRP is still the same useless junk without any major pumps coming for it in the foreseeable future.
and you have to be really delusional to think it can get pumped 200% in only one day!
it is a cheap coin and by that logic of any pump-coin it should be able to have big pumps like this but being the number 3 prevents it from having such huge pumps.

Market capacity is 317 billion dollars at the moment, 25 billion dollars ripple, 70 cents per day even in daytime and if MarcetCap 3 is 5 then ripple will make the same move from dominance in marketcap but this will not be a straight line , $ 100 billion forward, $ 50 billion backward, $ 200 billion forward, $ 100 billion backward mobility. This is not a desired level for ripple.

Your expectations are too high. I think ripples will growing but not as fast as you think. Ripples price will be bigger and bigger but will need more time for this. I hope in over 1,5 dollars but i do not know how long it will be last

today? oh come on.... to be honest, i am a fan of ripple, but rise like a 100% in one day i think still hard for ripple. for next 2 - 3 month still possible.

Just reading comments here and I have a burning question. Why does everyone say XRP won't hit these prices BECAUSE it is centralized?

I really dislike tokens like Ripple because they take crypto away from decentralization and make it very corporate (same goes for Ethereum) so I could never support these projects fully.

BUT one thing I can say is that centralization is actually beneficial if all holders care about is price (you know it's true they do). What better way to control prices and supply other than what Ripple devs are doing for XRP?

I don't like and I don't trust Ripple.
Like the other alts, ripple depends on news too. But ripple has really harsh news which can end up you becoming directly rich or poor.

I hope ripple coin will hit that price like $1.50 but we need to wait maybe weeks more because for sure they need to reach first $1 before they reach that price. We need more company and more projects will ripple so we can see thw price of the ripple will become that price. Better to hold more ripple now because for sure after few few years for sure it will become very high.

I hope you did not celebrate early because for sure you will getting hurt of it. Market is now in difficult again which mean the real demand is still not meet better you wait for the big whales to come so that they can manipulate the market to rise up again and enjoy the ride. So therefore better to confirm it first  because for me one day is not enough to make the Ripple to hit the $1 mark.

For the recent and upcoming events of Ripple, there is no doubt it could get up to 1.5USD (no shilling). It overcome EOS and BCH now it's the top3 on the marketcap, really high volume is now pouring now on ripple making this a good hodl.

I also hope that the ripple will reach $ 1.5 in the shortest time. Although the ripple has started to show signs of recovery, however it will take a lot of time to reach $ 1.5. I think the ripple will be hard to reach $ 1.5 this year, because the market is still in phase extremely difficult. Right now it is a good opportunity for us to invest in the ripple when it is very cheap

Ripple is a very speculative coin, due to this the price of a coin can soar very fast and high, but it can fall as quickly. The risk is still there.

It is funny to watch how ripple-FOMO-investors are creating these ripple-pumping threads.

All alcoins have been growing for several days. An increase from 0.6 to 1.5 $ for ripple is probably not possible. It seems to me that even at the end of this month, it is not able to achieve such a price. Expectations for such a growth of this coin are probably too big.

Not possible as of this moment, as long BTC did not reach above 10k mark there is a small possibility to reach that, as market sentiment is always based on Bitcoin price. So it is possible in the medium term but short term it has very small chance to happen.

I think the ripple would be hard to do. Currently the market is in a difficult period, the price of the low altcoin, the price of ripple only 0.66%, the market will need a lot of time to recover and grow. Ripple is a good coin but it pump to the $1 price range now because the market just start to recover and it will take awhile before all crypto currency gain the investors attention but the $1 price maybe achieve next month though.

   In this article, I see no argument why the ripple should grow to $1.5. No doubt, the ripple will grow and reach 2 and 4 dollars, but not today or tomorrow. The whole market needs to start to grow, a single coin wouldn't start such a powerful growth, without the other coins.

If the ripple reaches such a price it is probably not soon. The price would have to increase by 100%. Of course, the price of xrp can one day grow to 1.5 or more. But it will not happen in a day or a week.
