As some of you know, I started a training area for Bitcoin Talk members who don't have English as their first language. It's an open site, so I may get viewers who aren't members of this forum. I created a banner to encourage them to join here, but I'm not the best of designers. This is the banner that I knocked up in a few minutes.

Are there any official banners that I could use?

It seems they are unofficial ones.  I like something like the fourth one but wanted to see the tilted BTC so if I give it a try to make the banner:

a very nice banner, it is a very pretty bitcointalk banner, if it is official I want to print on my shirt, and also make a bitcointalk banner sticker. hopefully there is already a bitcointalk banner print logo on the shirt

I'm not sure there has an official banner for this forum. It would be sweet if a member here that has a website put bitcointalk banners on their sites. But remember there's isn't a referral link, lol.  ;D

Hmm...this banner must be identic to our forum. Maybe related to bitcointalk favicon (Bitcoin logo - gold) and this forum background color, adding some network illustration as banner background would be better. IMHO.

Well I only spent about 5 mins on the one I did using Irfanview. I'll use that until something else turns up.

I'm not bothered about a ref link, it's just that I wanted to restrict the site to Bitcoin Talk members, so I needed a way for people to join if they were amongst the uninitiated.

There aren't any official banners.

The forum's symbol has traditionally been the upright BTC, since the forum was created before the slanted-BTC logo was created. Here (https://en.bitcoin.it/w/images/en/5/50/Bitcoin.png) is the full-size version of the forum's favicon, both images created by Satoshi. But it doesn't really matter; use whatever you like. If anyone creates any fun/funny banners, I'd add them as a factoid (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3174185.0).

I quite like it, but the stretching has lost the impact of the distributed nodes in the background.

Sorry to ask, but is that original, and can I use it?

Mjbmonetarymetals (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=28640) made some pretty good looking promotional stuff for those who shall not be named (https://forum.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-cash-f119/bitcoin-cash-logo-branding-t48603.html).  I've found him to be affordable and excellent to work with.  Maybe he could be asked to do something similar for Bitcointalk?

Yes, I made it with my old Corel Draw, at first I'll use your size, But I thought your image width at OP causing by bb code. Yes, go on, you can use it. I'll be proud.  :)

I gave you a couple of merits for doing it as it's really for the forum. Sorry it's only 2, but I'm getting a bit low on sMerit at the moment.

Banner design is not my strongest ability. :)

The blue blends in quite well - it's just the right colour.

I've just created a thank you thread over there as well.

With this thread the fire inside me started to dance like it is telling my subconscious mind why don't you try to create a banner for bitcointalk as long as BTC logo is with them.

But for doing so will eventually show my username in the list of factoid (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3174185.0) and I don't want to get famous in bitcointalk.  ::)

You can use these if you want (Black-Gold Theme). I made it using Adobe Photoshop CS6.

There's no copyright issues aside from satoshi's bitcoin logo (site's favicon)

I can make a different color/theme for free if you like, as long as I have spare time.

Thanks for creating those. I'm OK with the one on Fit to Talk, but I'll create some other sites, and add some links. The most challenging one will be Stans' Slave nad the nine circles of merit hell, but I've only just started putting that together.
