Does this change your attitude to the cryptomarkets?

Not me personally, but I'm glad for those who might be compelled by this decision of the agency to consider cryptocurrencies. There is a lot of opportunity, both financial and political, for getting involved with cryptocurrencies. :)

This doesn't effect me personally but indirectly I am happy more people are approved to join the cause. It only bodes well if more people on this planet can join, which now they apparently have the permission too (funny how that works :D).

No, only the knowing that you could expect some people from this religion moving into crypto now that they have ''clearence''. It's very good news.

     An increase in traffic is always a good news, and this thing really happening if true will certainly increase the number of potential investors which then can lead to bigger chances of mass adoption and could mean bigger opportunities of being accepted by lots of businesses and governments that will then greatly increase the prices and give all the crypto users more options on how they wanna use their crypto earnings. I can only think of great possibilities coming from this news. Hence, I support this.

I am wondering about one thing - do we really had that many Muslims who were interested in cryptocurrency yet stayed away because of the uncertain status of cryptocurrency?
Personally, I think that whoever wanted to invest in crypto did it in the past. However, I am happy for all those conservative people who kept away from BTC, waiting for official confirmation.
I am not sure if that short analysis will be good enough for every Muslim out there 0 but that is certainly a good start - maybe cryptocurrencies will be openly embraced by organized Islamic banking system.

tl;dr The more positive news about BTC the better.

this is not important at all. no legal institutions of Islam have declared crypto currencies as not halal. this only assure muslims and disprove some fraud news.


do you know any countries with muslims majority of population. I'm sure you don't, because you won't say that if you know.
Arabic (some countries with the same language) Turkish and Indonesia are the countries with muslims majorities, they have active local boards of discussion in this forum. this proves you are incorrect at the first place. I think you know what I mean.

maybe this is why there has been such a rapid growth of bitcoin in the last 48 hours?

This may seriously impact things if it enables acces to a large group of people who wouldn't invest before for religious reasons.

Not sure how much halal applies to tech stuff though, guess we will find out soon.

halal or not, I have a principle with it and it will have no effect whatsoever, because I know how to earn an income in cryptocurrency, many muslim citizens who invest in cryptocurrency and I think that it the usual.
