Thanks everyone! It has been almost a year with hundreds of sales to as many members and no complaints from anyone and have also made many connections on this site :)

but now bitmit is committing "seppuku" ... so there goes that :(

edit: 21/01/2014 - I am selling direct at 15% off to those who contact me (contact details on site above) via email or skype, anything left over is put on site at 20% (which is not much at moment) hence the daily volume being sold at 20% has gone down, sorry about that it just makes sense for me to make the highest profit first.

Not at the moment since they dont sell to well in past experience and european amazon giftcards all have expiry dates it seems

From time to time there's 100, just the higher denominations seem to sell out faster, average is 25

Just bought one, easiest bitcoin transaction I've ever made. Only one confirmation, exact amount that doesn't change after starting the transaction (unlike some annoying Bitcoin payment systems)

Thanks for review :) the rate is taken from bitstamp at most every minute, the moment an order is placed that rate is recorded just for that order, and is valid for 30 minutes in which it keeps checking for any incoming bitcoins to the unique order address, i felt 15 minutes like bitpay is a bit too low, I am currently thinking about doing 0 confirms for regular buyers but need to think it thru

Right now they are selling out as soon as I add them within minutes, so sorry i dont have the volume to cope with US shopping season

I think 1 confirm is more than reasonable, 0 confirms will result in all kinds of problems.

Also, would you consider talking orders for specific amounts at less or no discount?

You've got to keep an eye on it.  I buy them up as soon as I see them, as do many others.

You should try to purchase within 20 seconds...

I've had most of my luck buying early in the morning (~3:00am EST) and late-afternoon (~4:00-6:00pm EST).

This likely relates to the OP being in the +0 GMT/UTC, which means he's probably adding cards around 7-8am his time before work and 9-11pm before bed.

today big problems with bitstamp api being unavailable due to crazy bitcoin trading going on today so site would say "Unable to retrieve current bitcoin exchange rates, check back later!"

I figure better show error message than sell at wrong rates and then have people be unhappy

Switched to blockchain.info rate, bitstamp has been unusable for last 2 days as can be seen from many threads on this forum

I just bought a giftcard and instead of a giftcard code you just put your email -_- order 181

why are you just putting very low value cards (max 5$) since the past few days?
a 1$ or 2$ card with the fees comes up to more than the card value!

Those are just the cards that a left when you get there.  There are higher value cards, but they sell a lot quicker.  :(

Why screw around with all the $1 and $5 cards?

$10, $20, and $50 sound like good denominations to me.

I think thats just how he gets the cards from his source. $1s are a pain to copy/paste though.

You can use the "Redeem" button on the website, and it will automatically populate the Amazon page with the gift card number.  Save a bunch of time with those smaller denominations.

I add the small amounts for those users who never used the site and don't want to risk much (understandable!)

Actually, a lot of people have scripts setup to notify them via text message or e-mail when cards are added.   ;)

I'll sell you SMS notification service for a few satoshis.   I usually do 6 second notice to SMS.

How often are cards available for purchase on the site?
Every time i go, there's none available.

Gotta be vigilant, constantly refreshing their page. They pop up, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes only a few seconds.

I just have a bash script setup (cron every 5 minutes) to check the website and if there is any cards in stock (grep for "No amazon.com gift cards"), it sends an e-mail to my Messenger account (so it comes through as a text message to my phone).

Yeh they sell quick at 20% off,
if anyone wants me to hold an amount for them then that can be done at 15% off,
pm me or email me (contact details on site) with amount you require.
Have done this already with several users from here successfully, thank you.

If you have an issue with any code please email me asap, sometimes I enter wrong ones or double enter by mistake or enter non amazon.com ones,
in those case the buyer is either refunded of course or I give another giftcard for same or larger amount :) to keep everyone happy.

Please do not ask me If western union or paypal or any other non bitcoin payment method is accepted,
the whole point of me selling cheap is to get bitcoins which I can then sell locally at premium,
my daily volume is limited by that of course.

I can vouch, great person to work with and goes out of their way to make sure you're taken care of.

Sorry just amazon.com the european amazon sites have expiry on their cards and they dont sell well enough to justify the hassle

Most of the cards I buy here work well, but recently I have been having a few problems with cards being redeemed in another account already, or Amazon telling me the code is invalid.

That being said, the website owner so far has offered amazing and quick support so I can't complain - just a heads up sometimes the codes might not work for some reason.

This service makes it hard for me to sell amazon cards on the forum.
