Title: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: barbs on November 12, 2013, 06:08:04 PM Hey guys... I've been locked out of my gox account since 10 Am this morning, 8 hours now. This morning it worked fine. I enter my username and login info, then hit submit, then it brings up the yubikey/otp field, and usually i just hit enter.
I was sent a yubikey by MTgox but my girl at the time misplaced it and i never actually registered it. So i've always just been hitting enter for many months now. Out of the blue today, when i hit submit on the yubikey/otp part, it says Invalid code instead of just letting me in. I'm concerned someone has hacked my account or something, so I changed my password straight away, still can't get in. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I didnt get a withdrawal email so I dont think someone has taken my funds. However, its been hours since i opened a ticket and I'm missing out on market moves! Can anyone quickly point me to a way I can chat with a gox rep possibly, or is my only avenue to wait for them to answer my ticket? If anyone can recommend what I can do to expedite or just tell me if i'm stuck and I gotta wait that would be great. Thanks. Thanks. No but Gox does not like, if you use the account without Yubikey. If you lost yours, they send you a new one. Same situation here, locked out of my account for something I don't even have.

Does that mean i'm stuck for three days unable to manage my bids etc :( Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: moderate on November 12, 2013, 07:06:39 PM Is there anything we can do? i just checked history from this weekend when i asked about a missing BTC withdrawal it took them THREE DAYS to come back. Let's see how long it takes to get any kind of reply. Thanks for mentioning the issue, I wasn't aware I got locked out before that. I changed my password, i removed the imaginary yubikey that have never asked. I'm furious, nervous, anxious, i don't want to lose my money! if you have any news, let me know. I will do the same. Good Luck Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: moderate on November 12, 2013, 10:43:51 PM No reply received so far, several hours already. The 24/7/365 support seems non-existent, maybe they are copying the BTC-e support now.

I'm furious..... this is the worst holyshiet you should ask them for your loss profit ::) Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: barbs on November 13, 2013, 12:32:33 AM I missed the sell at 390 and rebuy at 360. I also had fiat i wanted to buy back into at 365 mark with, which totally flopped. 14 hours later, I still can't access my account still and watching the price float upwards. Support ticket hasn't even been assigned. How much money have these guys made off me and others? Unacceptable. As soon as they fix whatever is locking my account (will probably be days) i'm going to market buy, withdraw everything and specifically email them to shut down my account. Furious. B*stards. Use https://m.mtgox.com from your phones in the meantime different portal and works !! Argh After logging in you can just go to mtgox.com to use the normal site. Thanks again! Let's just hope MtGox never sees this and breaks that other site. Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: barbs on November 13, 2013, 04:40:45 PM lol so these clowns respond to me today and instead of fixing the issue, this is what I get
Hello, We have disabled the withdrawals on the account. Could you please provide your Identity proof as submitted during verification. Best regards, Mt.Gox Team Lol so i still can't log in normally, and now they've locked me out of withdrawing BTC from my account, it's been about 30 hours since i reported this. I've bought BTC but now I can't withdraw it. You can bet they're finished Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: moderate on November 13, 2013, 04:42:30 PM Still no reply here.
Title: Re: MTGOX account randomly started enforcing Yubikey / OTP Post by: barbs on November 13, 2013, 06:19:26 PM this whole thing cost me .7 BTC in loss. What can you do? Apparently according to goxx, just wait a few days and then they dont undersatnd you issue and just block you.
Communication is every 24 hours for me. Now i had to rescan my passport and send it to them when it has nothing to do with the issue at hand. I'm trying to just destress. Now i still can't log in, i have to trade from my phone; so i tried to at least withdraw the funds to my wallet, and now i'm blocked from that. Goxxed, so goxxed. |
