Post by: Coincado on April 14, 2018, 05:43:19 PM
Hi guys,

Published a new video with all the hard facts about MoneroV with some tips
on how to make the most of this hardfork.

Will you hold Monero or sell it shortly before the Fork?

Do forks work well (if you buy for them only)? A friend of mine held trough BTCP and it was terrible for him. Just sayin´

I hold XMR before and will hold after any forks  ;D No speculation only hodl. But all forks coins I will plan to sell if any exchanges will support it. Now a few of them told about support

I never buy a coin just because it will get a hardfork. Splitting a chain hurts the community and ultimately the stronger always survives. So in this case I will just hold my XMR and the new coin, probably sell it immediately.

Hi jlanzago, totally agree with you on that statement, I am also not a big fan of hardforks from a fundamental perspective but hardforks are a great scalping opportunity if you play your cards right  ;)

Hi SnakeGriffin, to make profit you need to scalp the price action and get out quickly, ideally shortly before the fork. BTCP was completely different, it was not a real hardfork, it was basically the devs from ZClassic rebranding it to Bitcoin Private. They abandoned ZClassic right after the fork, so the price dropped into the bottomless. But with Monero it's different, it won't go down significantly, maybe a bit on the 1h and 15min chart, but that's it, because Monero is a solid project with a large community.
