Title: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?
Post by: NikoF on April 15, 2018, 12:06:07 PM
Hey guys, what do you think about airdrops? It’s a good and easy way to earn money. However it takes a lot of your personal time, so is it worth it to take parts in them?

Airdrop is good, but I can not say that you will make much money from it. Firstly, you join airdrop, then you should wait for it to arrive, and you need to sign up exchange that which exchange token have and you should pay 5$ fee for token which a value of 10$. If you do trading, you can earn more income and be very comfortable.

Most airdrops are a hoax.
So I'm not going to waste my time on air drops. That's my opinion.

I cant say it really takes a lot of your personal time since the process for application is so easy and quick. For me, airdrops is best for newbies like us because it's one of the ways we are capable of participating with our current ranks.

if you have alot of time to sparee to fill up those form as well as if you have alot of patience to wait for your coins to be distributed because some of it will take months. But it is worth it if you joined many good airdrops.

Certainly airdrops should find time is excellent earnings which don't take away a lot of time. A small amount of tokens is charged for participation in them, but nevertheless it is pleasant. But you shouldn't forget also about baunty, these are probably the most widespread and best earnings of coins.

Now in the airdrop season, many new tokens are popping up, this time probably will not happen again in the future. The organizers ico are keen to hand out free coins. You should not miss it.

It all depend on you. Although it is good, if you find yourself a legit airdrop and any airdrop that can pay well, because some pay small number of tokens, that will only earn you meagre amount.

I consider that this is a good article of earnings, the more that it is simple and it can be done by everyone

Airdrop can be tried, but I don't think airdrop is a good way to make money. Most of the airdrop is worthless. There are a lot of projects just to achieve the purpose of publicity. They pay very few tokens, and many of the coins are worthless. They just pour out to get into the exchange.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?
Post by: Spazzer on April 15, 2018, 05:18:30 PM
It comes down to a simple principle. What is your time worth? I personally find it's not worth my time to join Airdrops as I can be spending that time allocated elsewhere. However, I still keep my eye on big exciting projects that have announced airdrops.

90% of the Airdrops to date are complete rubbish and the ones that have done well are always the authentic projects. I would suggest don't waste your time and just keep an eye open for big projects with Airdrops.

I used to take part in a lot of airdrops - but a lot of them are a waste of time. Nowadays I only take part in those that look like good projects. Yes an airdrop can be worth applying for, but I think the most efficient use of time is to make a quick judgement each time you see an airdrop come up as to whether or not it seems worthwhile.

Airdrops is a good opportunity to get a few tokens for free, although it's not clear what will happen to them in the future and it takes a little time, you can pay about 2 hours per day. But I choose the bounty because there you can win a lot more, but it takes a very long time

No. Being involved in the airdrop at the present time only wastes your time. You will not get anything from it. If so, then the token is not valid. You should take the time to participate in the bounty. will be better for you

My opinion is Yes! Though most of Airdrops are scam or bullshit but if you keep doing Airdrop then you will find some good project too. So, Overall I think Airdrops are worthy. But don't invest in any airdrop, Airdrops means free. don't fall in scam. good Luck mate.

In my opinion, taking part in airdrops is good, i've earned about 5000$ in only airdrops , you can earn more by doing bounties + airdrops together . It all depends on you ! I have a suggestion for u that u can earn money by doing airdrops + bounties then use that money to buy ICOs, start trading to earn more and more.

if I see the tokens for airdrop now not very promising, the average they just want to reproduce the community only, they only give between 1-5 USD / person. that's also the reason why I rarely to take part in an airdrop

Nowadays most of Airdrops are not receiving but rarely receiving token with high profit. I received TRDT tokens 650 in January it was around 0.5$ each. so every signal Airdrop is not a fake

Yes it is. All you have to do is to fill up their form for the aidrop then it is done. You just have wait for the distribution of coins. If it is tradable, then sell it. You didn't waste any of your time for this.

All depends on what you pursue the purpose. Airdrops not do you rich, but can bring a couple of dollars, but only up to you are ready to whether to work and spend their time on the registration, filling tables and implementation of a few jobs for this money. Were cases when coins, which are paid for participation in the airdrop cost $30 and more, so part in the airdrops more like gambling game.

I would say that if you are adopted to identify the good ICO, it will never be a problem to find out if the airdrop is worthy of spending time for it. However, replying to your question, you may participate in them if there is a guarantee that they will pay afterwards.

Normally no, they offer so little that is not even worth the time of looking for an exchange and then go to trade to just get a few $ that will eventually be eaten up by fees and the like.

Well, there are airdrops where you can make small profit but mostly they are scams. You should need to careful in joining airdrops because you might just end up with nothing or worse, get your information phished. It's just a waste of time, what you should do is invest even if it's just a little and do trading. Or you can join signature campaign and earn tokens.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?
Post by: ArkiCrypto on April 27, 2018, 01:04:26 PM
Well yes it's a very easy way to earn money since all you have to do is to do some small task (Twitter follow, Fb like, etc) and in exchange they're going to reward you tokens, however some of the airdrops or token are worthless because ended up being a scam, but it doesn't matter there are some airdrops that's worth joining on.

Just like what you've said it will took some of your time then if you're just going to sacrifice time why don't you just join bounty campaigns? it's more profitable and worthy rather than joining airdrops for sacrificing time. But it's all up to you this is just according to my experience and observations.

For me Airdrop is an unfortunate job I've ever experienced, because the average coin we get from Airdrop has no price, and is not even sold in the market.
my advice, it's better to follow Bounty, though sometimes when sharing a gift takes a while. but the result is more visible than Airdrop.

Airdrop is good, but you have to really choose because there are only a few airdrops that are valuable. If you want to make more money you should choose to follow Bounty campaign.

So far i have received around 150$ worth of coins from airdrops, in the last 2 months. To be honest, i think that there are better ways to make money than from airdrops, for example joining bounty campaigns, where the amount that you can earn is much higher.

This is really a simple and good way to earn money. But airdrop will not bring you a big profit. You can certainly get $ 50-100 for free, but I think that this does not suit you.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?
Post by: Freezingel on April 27, 2018, 01:38:53 PM
No as it takes a lot of time if you want to join a lot of airdrops and you are not guaranteed to get something valuable out of it. You are just giving away your information and if you are careless you may even enter your private key instead of wallet address when filling the form so the risk is higher than the potential benefit.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?

Airdrops it's like a lottery, 1 in 20 can get you about$100, but you have to really choose because there are only a few airdrops that are valuable. If you want to make more money you should choose to follow Bounty campaign. But if you have enough free time , then doing a regular airdrops for a month can turn out a tidy sum but maybe not) up to you.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?

I think you do not need to take part in airdrop if you do not have a large number of referral subscribers. Even if there is a necessary large number of referrals, it is still because of the large number of scams your result will be small.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?
Post by: bekohkoning on April 27, 2018, 01:48:32 PM
it all depends on the time you have, if you have a lot of time there is no harm in trying your luck by joining in airdrop to get extra money but i do not guarantee it, because i see almost 90% airdrop only gets 5-10 cents only

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?

Definitely yes,if you choose wisely airdrops of the best projects, but No,if  you waste your time to register for every airdrop you see.As it was mentioned before-95 %of all airdrops is just useless scam tokens.

Yes. Airdrop is one way to earn money easily. Because the airdrop project is often quickly completed and the system is also not difficult. However, the project is vulnerable to scams and token prices slightly below the token price we get from bounty projects. It's a guys that I can give an opinion to the question you asked.

For me participating in airdrops is quite good source of income though you will get here a little compare in participating in bounty campaign and also in investing and trading...  You know what as a newbie joining in airdrops is better source of your experience about what are really happening in the market and also in the world of cryptocurrency... If you  want to earn even youare just newbie...  Airdrops is a good starting point...  Try it but beware of false airdrop...

before airdrop is profitable i earn from it, i got a lot of token that it could be sell and have value on the market, so i was happy that time beacause i earned big but til today i was able to stop joining  its beacause mostly airdrop now is scam. So i prefer to join on bounty and signature campaign.

The majority of them are not worth any more, how this kind of distribution already used by the scammer to spread the malware and phishing the participants. The majority of them become crap tokens right now.
My friends were getting hacked after participate in the airdrop caused by the creator was distributing the malware to steal the privatekey.

Since you are still a newbie, I think it is just right that you participate in airdrops while there is no signature campaigns you can join yet. Since it does not require ranks (mostly), that is the easiest way for you for now to earn some tokens while ranking up.

They are worth it, if you can spot the right project, that has some perspective in the future. Some people already won a lot of tokens for some airdrops, because those projects were top notch. But lately, there are so many airdrops, that one simply cannot do a background check on all of them. It is very hard to spot the right one. I would otherwise suggest you to concentrate on bounties rather than airdrops. They are way more profitable and less risky I suppose.

Airdrop only requires a simple task,  and never takes a lot of your personal time, meaning even you have to join in a multiple airdrops everyday, it cannot cost a lot of time. After youve done the simple task,  you are ready to go and wait for the token into your wallet as they promise. Sometimes airdrops reward are good as penny in terms of value but rarely you can get an airdrops reward that worth it and has a good value in the markets.

I have been in the crypto market for quite a long time and have never really thought of participating in airdrops. The mere of thought of getting free money makes me wonder whether it is actually going to be worth it. Most of coins give in airdrops are useless and considered as dust in our portfolio which is why I have never participated in any of them. It is better to take part in a bounty program rather than to take part in an airdrop.

Beginner is not recommended either, infact, those beginners tend to easily giving away their credentials data or any important things easily. Following or joining airdrop is only a good thing if the airdrop comes from reliable source or developers and it's really worth to follow the project, otherwise I won't join even if they are promising me to give such huge amount of free money.

Hey guys, what do you think about airdrops? It’s a good and easy way to earn money. However it takes a lot of your personal time, so is it worth it to take parts in them?

In my opinion, I think taking part in all the airdrops you see it's not worth your time.

It's better to choose which ones can make you earn something and which ones don't. And so where is better to spend your valuable time  ;)

For example, like someone has rightly pointed out in a previous post, I want to share with you guys a good airdrop that I have just discovered: RAWG.

I give you here all the relevant links:

This is the airdrop site: https://token.rawg.io/airdrop (https://token.rawg.io/airdrop).

It only requires just a few tasks to be done. Very easy and fast.

And the ICO site is this one here: RAWG (https://token.rawg.io/). It's a video game discovery platform that converts your skills into goods and services.

You can earn tokens by playing your favorite games. The site is already working, with more than 50,000 games in the database and new games are getting added every day. This is the site: https://rawg.io/ (https://rawg.io/)

They have just started a very rich Bounty program for everyone who is willing to participate. I'll put again the link:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3333252.msg34856268#msg34856268

with a nice referral program that can double your rewards.

I hope this information is helpful!

If you want to get free coin but dont have high price you can join the airdrop, but i think it just make our wallet full from useless coin. I think its more interested to join bounty progran and you can get worth it price fron your participation in the bounty program

In contrast to the bounty, the airstrops take very little time, but their profits are very small, and not worth it.

Yes it's worth but not all the times, It's easy to join airdrops by doing simple tasks such as registering in their website and follow their social media sites mostly Facebook, Twitter and Telegram. You only have to spend short time to do these simple task to earn a juicy reward. :D

Nowadays it worthless to participate in airdrop. However, its always better to have something rather than nothing. There are lots of ICOs becoming scam nowadays and sometimes the data we gave to the form or the company are passing to the dark net(some cases). I always prefer the airdrop if that submitted by a ranked member in this forum or have a good team behind the project.

If are you completely dedicated to it aka joining every airdrop you can stumble upon then it can be worth it, but most of the airdrops consist of shitcoins, so be prepared to contaminate your wallet with tokens you will probably never be able to sell (at least for a good chunk of money).

Every day we see releases of more and more Airdrops, which most often promise free crypto-currencies in return for next to nothing, your money is not all they want but rather anything they can get from you.
Most of them ask you to sign up or have a form completed. By providing your email address, you are throwing it in the wind on the internet and receiving tons of SPAM messages is the least of your problems.
People who know you're linked to crypto-coins will try to break your password in every way. And with access to your personal email they have almost unlimited access to all sorts of information from you, including wallets and other passwords.
So be wary of choosing an Airdrop or Reward, study as few details as possible.

I used to join in different airdrops before because I believed that they are paying enough rewards but then I realized that some airdrops doesn't really pay and some of them pays tokens without value. I would choose to join bounty campaigns rather than joining airdrops.

I think airdrops are a great mean to spread wealth and spread coins over the globe and gain community supporters or even make the project successfull!
Peoples usually like to get something free, so, i'm in for any airdrop, i think it's worth it!

Well if you have the time and a worthwhile project, then it would probably worth your time, but you'll also find that by joining a couple of airdrops, you would have ended up opening the gates of your social media accounts - Facebook, Twitter, etc and even your email to torrent of spams as most airdrops are simply avenues for contacts farming and nothing stops them from selling them to third parties.

Title: Re: Is it worth it to take part in airdrops?

No it's not worth. Most airdrops give around $1-3 for following them on some social media. It's too small amount of coin that you can't trade in exchanges. If you can, the transaction cost will eat all the token price. :) A total waste of time. A very few time (perhaps 2% time) you can get more than $10 from an airdrop. That needs luck. Airdrops are total waste of time. Developers are just branding their coin's name by hosting airdrops.

They did give a good money but most of those turned out to be a scam. I have still plenty of tokens in my wallet and most of those are worthless.

Airdrops are good. I agree with that. but you can't make enough profit with that. 95% airdrops pay below $20. once I got Polymath airdrop worth $250. That was the only airdrop I got with high worth. Many of other Airdrops didn't even have a Market price. If you need to make money without investing just join with Bounty programs. they are really worth than Airdrops. But you have to spend time for that. But it's worth for the time.

Airdrops have become a staple for ICO advertisements. In fact it has been going on since ICO advertisements became a thing. But as of now, I don't see airdrop campaigns becoming a viable way for people to work on. I see bounty programs as far more superior and profitable than airdrops and far more easier to work on nonetheless. Anyways, these are just my opinions and I may ve right or wrong.

We can really differentiate potential earnings on an airdrop compared into a bounty campaign which is right. For us veteran members it would turn out that these things are complete trash yet we do only earn a dust but for those people who do have struggle on earning money will surely jump into airdrops without hesitation as long it can give out easy profits then it would be already okay. I have tried airdropped once which i do earn 1k usd on that one which on eBTC.

Airdropped coins are hardly convertible into other currencies. Some coins are staying at death point for a long period of time. So I don’t see big opportunity to earn through participation in airdrop campaigns.

Most airdrops aren't that much profitable.

These maybe the reasons/factors why those airdrops aren't profitable:
1. Unsuccessful to reach hard cap
2. Certain Percentage only are allotted to Airdrops
3. In some cases, there are tasks should be done before getting the airdrops and the number of tasks finished have specific amount of rewards.
4. The project itself is a failure.
5. It's a scam

There's a lot more to state but these factors/reasons are the only ones that came into my head.

I think all the coin results obtained from airdrop do not have a sale price because of the limited allocation and the airdrop participants so much without having a limit so the allocation is shared by many participants making what you get becomes worthless better avoid airdrop.

Airdrop is the easiest way to gey tokens or coins because all you have to do is to register and do nothing but wait for your tokens. Its the easiest but it will not give you a significant amount or profit. Is it worth it?, maybe if youre lucky and get a good airdrop, anyway you dont have to do anything.

Of course, you will get valuable tokens worth the time you spend. Airdrops often give their tokens to the participants and support their projects, the Tokens you receive can reach $ 100 or so. But you should know that many projects give you their tokens, but they are not worth it.

Some are worth it, but a lot are not. Even though it is quite quick to take part in an airdrop, it does still take time if you are joining a lot. It is probably better to choose only those projects that look most professional. It is often quite easy to tell those that don't seem very promising.

Yes, airdrop is worth the time pal most especially if the project you've joined has potential and I've made a lot of profit from participating airdrops already  :) . Just by holding for a few months of their token then waiting for it to hit exchanges then sell when high. But I left a portion of it, i am not selling all of it if I sense a longetivity term of the project. Its more profitable if you've have a referral since mostly if only airdrops you would get is not just enough.

the time used to do the airdrop isn't worth the fee provided. may indeed be the way it works is easy but it is less attractive to me if seen from a nominal payment. In addition, a growing number of airdrop scam that emerged at this time also makes for increasingly in doubt.

To me, airdrops are not worth it. It might be worth it to you if you decide to do it but i don't just think that there is enough money to be made from airdrops the way that there is money to be made from participating in bounty campaigns. The value of the airdrop coins are so low that by the time you actually finish trading the coins, fees may have eaten up a huge chunk of it

I choose Airdrop when it comes to ease butwhen you are doing airdrop, an equal quantity for the participants will be awarded which is a less percentage to value of the whole supply of the token or coins. . While when you do bounty you can earn much bigger amount with a greater value that what you earned from airdrop so as for me airdrops are wasting of time

In my opinion it's not worth it to waste your time on airdrops, especially if the project isn't good and only want to earn donation money. I used to join airdrops when ebtc become so successful but only for a month as after that the token that I got from airdrop isn't worth anything. It's better to use the time to do other bounty so you can earn more from that.

It is a matter of choice to  take part in airdrops some schools of thought believed that is a waste of time while others believed that it really worth it, personally I don't take part in  airdrops  any longer because there are too many airdrops nowadays.

Airdrops are still fair to take part, just if you are able to research into harmless or better ones. But I can't give my total support since most of them pays very little at the end of the day, or the huge amount of coins given out turns or tantamount to no much value. I can therefore vouch more for bounties other than Airdrops for the fact that most of them pays higher than Airdrops and they are mostly reliable and trusted than Airdrops that may turn out to be scam or a waste of time in the real sense of it.

Airdrops provide people with a proposition that is often too good to pass up—a chance to get a stake in something without any risk. From an investor’s point of view, airdrops are exciting. Airdrops are the way to add value to your portfolio totally for free. Just be sure to always confirm the authenticity of an airdrop campaign before participating in it. You need to have some patience for earning from airdrops. They provide a low number of tokens generally but you will gain after the prices of these tokens raise up.

At this time a lot of airdrops are distributed free of charge, we just fill in some data and follow the social media but most of the airdrops have no price but there are also some valuable airdrop.
So if the required conditions are not complicated then airdrops are still worth it but we have to be more selective in choosing it even though it is difficult.

Hey guys, what do you think about airdrops? It’s a good and easy way to earn money. However it takes a lot of your personal time, so is it worth it to take parts in them?
Airdrop is a good way to get some tokens. However, the results obtained from airdrop are usually few. I have been following the airdrop program several times but the results are not satisfactory. In addition, many airdrop are scam or do not pay. Therefore, I prefer to participate in bounty rather than airdrop.

There’s nothing wrong if you participate on airdrops, though there is no assurance that you’ll receive anything in the end. It’s free anyway, so you can join on any airdrops as you want. However, almost all airdrops nowadays are not worth it and will just waste your time. Still, there is nothing wrong on joining.

Yes it is. All you have to do is to fill up their form for the aidrop then it is done. You just have wait for the distribution of coins. If it is tradable, then sell it. You didn't waste any of your time for this.

Yes sureness. There is no harm in trying. Joining airdrops may let you earn in return or same with others like a trash. Still its up to you. I have been joining free airdrops and some have value now and most just as trash nothing worth for. Most of airdrops now are worth.nothing and just wasting your time. But still nothing wrong in joining since its free.

I agree with you mate, I am wondering why people are blaming airdrops, it's given free yet they are still ranting such as the token they received has no price and no volume. I know that some of the airdrop are scam, asking for KYC, spamming your email account, but it's up to you if you want to participate.

I am a fan of airdrop and I earned a total amount of $ 350. Sometimes they are worth trying for, but remember no to KYC and do not send a even a small of amount of ETH to receive an AIRDRop. AIRDROP = FREE

Why would you waste your time to get involved into airdrops when most of them will not even leave this zone of airdop. Also there are plenty of threads that tell the people to not get involved into airdrops as most of them after joining in 90% of airdrops ended up with no profits, no nothing besides loosing their time.
