Title: Digital Currency Recession
Post by: Commander Steel on April 16, 2018, 10:32:05 AM
Like all markets, the digital currency market is close to correcting itself. If one does not know what that means, then this discussion is not for you. As the market corrects it will be a time research, buy the dip, and hope your right. All currencies will take a tumble and many will completely disappear. I think due to bitcoins popularity it will survive, but never be the same after decline. I like what waves put together, but I do not see big businesses using it. So far Ripple is on the right track, but there tokens are not associated with there platform. Yes when it comes to ripple companies are testing the platform, but there tokens have nothing to do with the testing lol. Many people fall for that.

So the pangea team will invest during the crisis in 3 coins and we are still researching those option. Also our coins has its own platform, market , and is actually being used! Our shopping cart will launch in May and farmers around the world will use the cart. The farmers accept two forms of payment, credit/debit (traditional with fees) and/or pangeacoins (no fees). For those businesses who want to create a currency, we will do one for them off of our platform. Over 10,000 farmers and businesses will be using the coin to actually purchase items off of our shopping cart. The coins will actually be used, none of this HODL crap. Circulation is the key to a currencies success and volume...that is where the miners come in :).

Start researching and buy the dip wisely!

the massive reduction of the crypto-currency transactions, as well as the scandal with the breaking of the Mt.Gox crypto exchange, contributed to a downward swing in the crypto market.

And what will contribute to the increase of the cryptocurrency market this year, do you think?

It's not clear where the market will go from here. It was in a recession as you call it from January through to earlier this month but there are now signs that the market will recover from here. You make good points about many currencies not having a real use, especially the points you make about ripple, they've shown that they have developed good technology and can be successful in convincing banks to adopt it but many do no realise that the ripple currency is not used in this at all. From an economic point of view their coin is a mess and not a sound investment. If you could bet on the tech being successful then it would be logical but not the token that supposedly backs it.

Like all markets, the digital currency market is close to correcting itself.
what about the past 4 months?
i can agree that the whole altcoin market is not yet at the bottom and it needs a lot more correction to reach it but the correction started a long time ago and many coins like bitcoin and a lot of small altcoins with low volume have already reached their real bottoms and even much lower than that.

As the market corrects it will be a time research, buy the dip, and hope your right.
that is not wise at all. two mistakes you are making here.
the biggest one is hoping instead of analyzing. this is not a gambling game you hope for the best, you analyze and make the best decision and leave 1% to the chance!

and the other mistake is that you are contradicting what you said above!
if market is close to correcting then it is not at the bottom at all. and buying should take place at the bottom.

I think due to bitcoins popularity it will survive,
bitcoin's survival or doom has nothing to do with its popularity. the popularity itself is a product of utility of bitcoin.

So far Ripple is on the right track,
Ripple is also a centralized shitcoin without any usage!

ripple companies are testing the platform,
in other words banks that are interested in Ripple technology not Ripple token aka XRP!

It sounds harder to digest when you term it as a recession, but there's no certainty as to whether it's going to be a long-term correction or a short one out. It's certainly been 4 months since the sharp drop in vlaue, but we're recently noticing that the markets are picking up and there's an influx of investment. Mostly certainly we're also noticing a positive investment attitude from Goerge Soros and serval traders. Now, the important thing to note is, Bitcoin will not just survive just because it's popular, but also because it's doing a lot in the research avenue. We're seeing lightning network development move up the ladder and there's now more open arena for instant exchanges. If you had noticed the price of Ripple a month ago, it dropped from $3.55 to what it is today. Most of the crypto market was covered in blood, and Ripple certainly isn't doing any better either.

Soros expresses his interest in cryptocurrency, and this is right time when cryptocurrency weakens. we can see after a few months of bloody cryptos, it is now beginning to look green, and this is the awakening of cryptocurrency
