Our Plan,

Curecoin and the Franko collective are going to host two semi - separate folding pools

When you fold you points will be counted in both pools automatically.

With Franko current value at ~.25 USD per coin, its sure to add to the profit of folding.

To start you folding journey, the first place to go is the Franko Folders Pool , currently hosted at http://cryptobullionpools.com . Sign up there following the instruction on the about tab or follow the link in the getting started tab.

Currently this is the only active folding pool, the official curecoin pool will not be live for a few more days. Once the curecoin pool is open you will be getting curecoins and franko at the same time for the same work!

All folders who want to get started now for curecoin launch visit the Franko Folders pool at http://cryptobullionpools.com .

For now there is no need to sign up for the curecoin.net site that was posted / leaked . That pool is in testing phase and does not even pay out and any info there will be overwritten during the official launch.

So how do you know how much franko to give out? is it based on folding points?

The amount will be a fixed amount that is up to the Franko Collective, and depends on how much funds they can raise for Franko folding pool. From what I understand they plan to fund it for a long time to come, and with Franko at .25 USD right now, it will certainly add up over time.

I registered and did the guide for the software, but it's online and attempted to connect 11 times. It still has not started to find work to fold. I did the folding instructions exactly shown on the guide and I am doing it on a VPS.

Like I said, I followed the instructions exactly. Obviously, I have to use the same user name on the pool for the user name for Folding@Home project.

testing this out now :) for people who might not get their GPU to start folding, move the slider bar in the software from "medium" to "full"

two hours, the progress is still 0%,what error?

two gpus is working!

I'm not gpu mining, I'm cpu mining with a vps.

well it toiok a while for me to see anything, my progress is now at 15.61%

However, the pool still shows nothing....

I'll let it run anyway :)

yep yep... folding is MUCH different than mining.... its not what miners are used to. Miners fire up cgminer / bfminer etc and see shares and mhash  / ghash instantly, and shares start getting counted.

Folding , is all together different.... It can take a long time for the cpu to feed all the data to the gpu before the gpu even starts working. you can check the log page to get an idea of what exactly the progress your folder is making. just click log tab and scroll to bottom to see the most recent activity.

if u see this at the bottom
then ur folder is working away at its first fold, and in a while u will see stats start to show up

The folding pool does not credit you untill you entire work unit is complete , then it must upload the work... looks like this in your log

after that completes, you work unit is check by stanford for accuracy. It then takes additional time for stanford to post these results ( they usually update by the hour, however some WU's may not be approved for up to 6 hours ).

Finally after stanford has approved and posted your points, this info is collected by the folding pool to calculate payout.

So if you are getting impatient with you folder ( i was too when i started to fold instead of mine ) just give it some time... check the logs to make sure its working... and let it run.

Great thing about folding is that it using much less wattage and creates less heat on the gpu then mining.

Just an FYI to anyone who is new to folding, It may say 0% for a while, but that is because the process is starting up. It takes the program a while to solve the problems.

Also, is there a specific time the pool is updated?

yes just take a look at the "folding days" list and u can see what time each day the stats were updated...

I dont seem to be getting any payments.

I am properly set up and have completed a couple of folds..

yet again no balance was added to my account..

As a remember to new users please know the login is case sensitive. If your name is Chris on FAH and chris and the folding pool you will not get counted.

Both names need to match case.

on another note... we are folding as fast as teams in the top 100 ranks  ;D

um, yes... there is a 100% chance that u will be earning curecoin soon with folding.
