Just try on editing it and make the subject "TO BE DELETED". And some of the mods will surely take have a look at it and have it deleted immediately.

You should have a good reasons to delete it that some posts received merits then some users merit points will be adjusted. Am not sure about this, Correct me if am wrong.

You lock it and move it to the archive (control at lower left). :) That's all the moderator will do - save them the time and trouble. (Funny, I never received merit in advance of my post...)
