Many people say that EOS will replace ETH in the future. What do you think?

Every altcoin and tokens can replace ETH if it affirms superiority and care, community effort and contribution to achieve that!

It’s all speculation
It’s not easy to overturn the strength and might of eos
Maybe a little dominant
But eth will override all

i think it is possible . it hit ethereum's weaknesses . network congestion , high transfer fees , expansion issues . ethereum's vision is idealism , and it is difficult to achieve by relying entirely on technology.

EOS is a coin that depends very much on the mood of the market and has colossal leaps both up and down. Yes, it has its advantages over the ETH, but it is not enough to break the price of the ETH, we'll look at the price when they launch the platform.

EOS is a way faster than ETH in transferring, that's why its likely to beat ETH in future but it also depend on crypto currencies market where it is going in coming months. ETH and BTC are two strong coins, we cant say anything about altcoins future.

Ethereum cannot get very fast trans speed and get more traffic like cryptokitties could kill ethereum very easy with their trans amount , eos will first who could get so much trans traffic as he could.

If you are basing on what coin is faster than Ethereum to replace it. Then EOS will not replace ETH, it will be AION. AION is faster than any coin in the cryptocurrency space. Though now it's only in testnet. The mainnet will be release next month.

ETH and BTC are two strong coins, we cant say anything about altcoins future.
I agree with this statement that anything can happen in the future.

Why not? Due to however dan larimer the founder of EOS has large of experience in digital coins world, he has made bitshare and steemit, even the steemit is number one on blockchain activity than ethereum can be seen on here https://blocktivity.info/ based on his experience and the products of coins, there are chance for EOS to replace ethereum. So let's wait for june 1st due to EOS blockchain will be launched. And you can do research by your self with other community on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1904415.0

Well, considering EOS is a coin that is actually built on the Ethereum network, the coin itself isn't going to do anything special. The thing that has the potential to kill ETH is actually the EOS dapp building platform. Once the crypto market is large enough, ETH will be outgrown and we will need a more scalable solution like EOS

I think EOS can't replace ETH the near future especially in 2018. EOS growth lately tends to be slower/more stagnant and cannot be expected. After a red storm hit the crypto market on an ongoing basis EOS hasn't been able to rise from adversity.

There is no doubt EOS is a direct competitor to Ethereum and so are these projects NEO, Qtum, and Tron. But the upper hand Ethereum has over all these project is that is still a Proof of Work coin, and price comes with that. The only selling point of EOS is the transaction speed but what about the ICO market that Ethereum had strong hold over

Every altcoins always aim to take down or replace Ethereum even if they are only riding to its blockchain. Nothing is impossible in crypto market specially if this platform collects lower fee, faster transaction speed and more secured. I'm also holding some EOS and believed that it is worth investing. I am pretty sure that EOS will hit $100 position by the end of the year specially, if they build a strong partnership with these big players in the market.

Even bitshares or DAG coins which used new system to get instant transaction and zero fees. EOS will never replace ethereum consider EOS just an improvement version from ethereum old protocol or smartcontract. There will be so many update to make a great update to the ethereum protocol soon. Raiden and many more will come to nuke ethereum market.

First that's still a speculation a lot of alts has the potential to replace ETH but that would take a lot of time to happen just imagine BTC is till not replaced by ETH. EOS has a huge potential but EOS replacing ETH? i'm not that sure about that but im seeing EOS @ the no. 3rd, 4th, or 5th spot before 2018 ends ;)
