Verge sucked with its anticipated and secret partnership which turned out to be PornHub. Are you kidding me??? The price of Verge after rally of more than 40% this morning went down back 40% or even more within few minutes following the awaited "partnershit"! Totally disappointed.

Maybe you should wait patiently and the price will make rebound in a few weeks. Never let the emotions taking over the price of this extreme volatility and believe in the coin you have invested instead.

You need to do more research on Verge most posts around internet about their latest moves all scream scam. I wouldn't go near it when there are so many quality alternatives to back with your hard earned money.

It a really really bad press for Verge actually, I wonder whose idea it was fir them to soil their corporate Identity with thst of industry that people consider to be morally corrupt!

While many people see it as a useless or negative partnership, it could potentially be a good financial move for verge. Why? Porn is a very big industry and pornhub actually is if not the largest, one of the largest porn websites in the entire world. I'm not completely in agreement to Verge's partnership but i could see why morals aside, the partnership will bring big money. This is actually big for Verge and more than what other coins have accomplished.

I'm not updated with anything about Verge but it's viral about their partnership to pornhub. I have sold most of my Verge before the correction and never get back to it. Are you expecting that this partnership or announcement from them will make them fly to the moon? This awaited partnership gathered different reactions from the crypto community.  ;D

I still don't understand why people hated connection with porn industry (except overzealous believers). That industry is very big in NA and Europe so it can bring so many new people to cryptocurrency world..

its actually good news the fact that xvg team actually had something to announce. could go either way from here but at least they took crypto into real world uses

That's because you can watch porn for free so that's why there are many of your co-fellow investors that are disappointed with the most awaited announcement.

Lol. It is simply a dump by whales who want to buy Verge for cheaper price. We will see the 3-4x growth very soon, it is a good news about pornhub.

Subscribers are expected to flow into porn sites but the thing here is that most doesn't need to pay for porn just to watch.

This is good the for Verge in the long run, it is interesting to know that Pornhub does not accept any other coin. It shows that verge is working on getting more partners on board.  

You better explain who is going to invest in porn, I'm sorry to pass against such actions and it's good that I did not buy this coin earlier.

I think your attitude is wrong on this one. You had illusions thus disillusions couldn't miss you, it's how the world works.

I see it this way - most crypto holders/traders know about Pornhub, most Pornhub users don't hold/trade crypto so maybe they will start now.

Utterly worthless partnership in my opinion. How the price of verge getting dumped more than before the company already announced by verge. I'm surprised what the fuck was happening with verge to look at p*rnhub as the partnership. I guess this is a joke how the dump was even more compared with the pump.

Look at 1D or 7D chart, and that's worst partnership ever.

I am not sure if regular PornHub users will start to learn crypto just to buy some Verge for payments. I think the enrty treshold for cryptocurrencies is still to high for a common, non tech savvy people - first you have to buy bitcoin, make an account on exchange, transfer btc there and learn how to trade to buy XVG, then install wallet, send there coins, etc. All this just to pay for a service. I don't know man.

When a new partnership or similar news emerged, the price of that coins rise greatly. This time the opposite is true, the porn industry can not get along well with crypto money :D

Lol. I actually had quite a laugh when i learned about it on facebook. Of all companies to partner with lol. And i think even brazzers :D quite a creative move for the team behind xvg though, but yeah the quick drop showed that it's not well received.

It was a fantastic move but the effects sent XVG price spiraling downwards. I guess a lot of traders and investors are still morally biased about what coin they choose to trade with

I don't know why someone can believe in this coin? They started a fundraiser for what exactly? So that Verge can be used as a means of payment at PornHub? There have been a lot of hype around it for this information or great announcement? What about porn-coins like Spankchain or the likewise?
Actually, who would pay for porn, I mean, seriously? 

I think even though I am not that impressed by the project and its function, they did a great job landing a partner like that. And even if they bought this partnership with their own tokens, Verge suddenly went from shitcoin with only a loud community to a coin that has real use and real value. Of course, pornhub is 'free' and such....but even if 1% of all users of all MindGeek projects will use XVG, they will have a pretty big userbase. Not that is says anything about the project itself, but still....great accomplishment in times when every porn maker/project is looking into blockchain for payment solutions and more.

I agree with you, It may not be morally good. The price was down, when I better invest in other coins such as ETH and ADA

Of course, good news caused price to go up and old holders took advantage of it and sold verge.
The thing is, you have to buy it before good news, otherwise you will become FOMO buyer and you will lose money.

Basically verge team scammed it's investors with this partnershit . People believe that verge will have a serious business partner , not the pornhub . To understand why pornhub is a bad partner just take a look on all previous porn-related crypto projects . Where they are ? Also , porn is a prohibited content in many different countries and it definitely will not popularize crypto and bring it to masses .

Wow do you have data or link that could support your statements? You know i am interested with this topic since it talks about porn sites. As we all know that porn sites are earning also with lots of advertisement on it if you only have notice. These sites are actually earning a lot from its viewers and at the same time those viewers are also having a good visual seeing on the site. So it is a win-win situation for the viewers and for the advertisers. So talking about the ICO promoting and partnering with the pornsites is not a bad idea. Many are subscribers with this pornsites and it could actually help in promoting ICO or even in putting up a project like this. ANd i have seen an ICO somewhere about porn tokens. That was funny.

this is one of the strangest news that led to big pumps of an altcion.
and it is strange mainly because if a website wants to accept cryptocurrency payment there are at least a dozen other better options before a coin like Verge.
starting with bitcoin then there is litecoin then even Dogecoin is a good option and also a lot of coins such as IOTA, NANO, ByeBall,... are 1000 times better than Verge! and they are used more and more people own them too!

nor do you need to pay for many other things online movies/programs/music etc yet there are still big numbers
however i see this as a mass exposure. only need 1% or 0.5% of ph users to be interested and xvg would be a hit.

Isn't it quite normal for this market. People buy the rumors and then sell the news. People want to get some profit, even I don't like it that's the truth.

This was to be expected. I do not understand why the price should be fixed at a high level. On the crypto market, any news always strongly influences the price. But this phenomenon is very short-term.

I don't avail such premiums on porn sites but that's the use of Verge, PayPal and other currencies that they are accepting. I know those things that you can purchase with a different level from the free-users. There has been a mass exposure to the adoption and yet still the drop for XVG has been significant. There might be investors who are just waiting for this announcement and after that they are ready to dump this coin. Anyway, I don't hold XVG anymore.

Then it is very good time to buy verge for short term profit I will probably buy it and sell it for a 10% profit few days later. I use a proportion of money for this kind of trading.
