The ad looks like something out of black mirror, but still. Pornhub is huge, might give Verge a second breath.

im also watching xvg closely droped 20% in 1 hr of announcement have since rallied 15% so us trade doesnt seem to mine have to wait and see how the asian trade reacts once they wake up
to me its not bad but the xvg shouldnt have called it a partnership (unless they have something with mindgeek saying only verge will be accepted and no other cryptos)
and they shouldnt have hyped up the announcement prior and it would have been a successful announcement
considering the privacy a deal in the porn trade would be great success but if they have nothing to stop other altcoins from joining then its no deal.
ive bought in more on the big dip now time to watch how it goes

I don't know what XVG potential is, but Twitter has a lot of tweets about Pornhub. It seems that news about a partnership is true. And Verge today makes amazing jumps on the  exchange

All right and as described. "Buy on rumors sell on news". 2 weeks before this 'partnership' in face of the paid banner were full of hype. Many mysterious words about the shadow giant partner have been made with the one goal. You see it on chart today  ;D

Verge has high potential in the long term investment like the Waves and the Litecoin. Verge has also owned blockchain where the token can be created as like the Etherereum, Waves and Bitshare blockchain technology. So, the partnership may be for the use of Verge blockchain for Pornhub.

People who watch porn are mainly cautious about saving their identity and remaining anonymous. The paid services on any porn website needs visa or mastercard and thus, can lead to the revealing of the identity because of their direct linkage to the banks. But now through verge which is an anonymous currency, people won't have apprehensions in paying for the paid services. This will definitely gonna help boosting the usage of paid content on PornHub and will help in introducing new demographic to cryptocurrencies. The thing that cryptocurrencies need is more adoption that can only come through more use cases.

i dont see any reasons why pornhub should use verge there are bitcoin or altcoins to use out there. verge paid pornhub to use their own coin as payment method this could save verge from dying hopefully it will die soon.

I was a little let down on first hearing about the "partnership" since they promoted it quite heavily.  In hindsight it can only be positive for them.  Any visibility is good visibility.

Hopefully Verge can use the underlying technology to parlay into addition partnerships or opportunities to get people buying and using XVG for more transactions.

Base on the chart it dump after the news came out. Pornography is a huge market but I think it is not good in terms of credibility of the coin itself. Many legit investors will avoid it. Can you imagine posting verge and telling the people it is a good coin because it has a direct partnership with pornhub? How will you tell it to a lady investors?

on one side of the pornhub is a developer of the most tolerant and I admit the greatness in their work.
but on the other hand, is the content of ethical issues in the eastern countries.
of course from both sides, only one that can dominate.

This makes me laugh.

For those who think verge has a bright future, let me ask you this, name one thing verge does better than Monero?

Sometimes, I hear people talk about how it's undervalued and has more potential to grow than already established privacy coins.
But to me, it doens't have that much value because it really doesn't bring any value.
Verge had been going nowhere for years and then a tweet from McAfee causes noobs to rush to it.

There is really only one king in the privacy coin market, and its Monero.
And it has tons of room to grow.  Stop wasting your time with shit privacy coins and be a smart investor, not just a "investor" who hopes to hit it big with a cheap coin.

Nice for fan of porn who want to remain anonymous! But not really anonymous as they still have your ip address. But it is still a big partnership and it is a good use for the coin.

I'm happy that another merchant is accepting crypto. That just brings us closer to mass adoption. And porn should be a target industry due to the privacy its viewers desire. I don't know how this will impact verge as Vice Token has an incentive model.

Of course it's marketing only. Paid ads now is partnership. And more hype is more possibilities for PH to sell own Verge and get more profit.

I heard about some features in Monero that gives vulnerabilities. I don't much know about technical or software details but some investigations in the world net exist.

Now I understand why the price of Verge had risen by more than 20% today and then dropped again. I think this partnership is positive, not just for Verge but for the whole industry. I hope there are so many other companies in every industry that follow the example of Pornhub

Definitely positve. Its not only pornhub but mindgeek, which means many other adult sites as well. If Verge gets adopted by users, other players will join.

you kidding it is going to be huge, the Porn industry is massive, a partnership with the biggest porn site in the world [Pornhub] is going to be good for Verge for sure. This industry needs Privacy coins as a method of payment as the customer looks for privacy when they pay for membership and services online so this is a win-win for the websites and verge, now more people will sign up for the sites and more people will demand XVG.

Indeed XVG is a big joke and that partnership seems to be a fake one,which is why it wont last the pumps that XVG received,i have to secure my profits now as most of the people are fooled with this fake partnership.This is clearly a joke,because theres so many coins out there that might be a good option why would portnhub choose verge? a shit project needs a shit partnership.

Very funny from the outside, but now no one will know exactly who paid, why not use bitcoin, I think that in this case, anyway the situation would lead to the use of crypto currency, it seems to me that crypto-currencies and porn should be friends.
