Title: Looking back ETH (2015) (miner edition)
Post by: antantti on April 17, 2018, 08:52:15 PM
The killer (d)app, where is it today?

Miners made some profits, what is this mothership doing three years later other than busy going to moon and back?

Dapps that actually do something? Anyone? Ok, citties but other than that.

It needs creativity, purpose and most projects fail at that. I believe eth dapps is the future.

Ok, can you guys make some tifo's when you get there so that everyone knows when to short?

It's amazing how little was raised back then.

Even the ETH ICO was like 2000 ETH per BTC. Back then BTC was like $1000 or so.

So the price per ETH was 50000 Sats or so.

When it launched you could mine a few blocks with a 280x which hashed at like 28mhs back then.

Augur is one of the top 50 cryptos today:

I think they are currently testing a beta.

Short only if extreme, for example, if eth right now in 1 hour goes to $2000 then we can say that is extreme, so we short, if eth goes to $700 right now, whales that i know would never short.

Now is --> buying only and nothing else.

Well for the BTC you know when everybody shorts just by looking at the Bitfinex long and short API info.

Basically on April 12 we were at record level 40K shorts and that's what causes that $1000 pump, basically short covering.

However what doesn't help is that you don't know what price most of those shorts entered. Could of been at $19k and a small $1000 gain won't make much difference .
