Title: Blog post on Bitcoin: Cryptography and the Crowd
Post by: val_ch on August 01, 2011, 07:58:57 AM
Hi, I've written a blog post about Bitcoin on the International Relations and Security Network's blog:

I received some comments related to security issues, but I'd also also like to hear a few voices on the general conclusions of the blog post. Do you agree? Did I miss something important that affects how ordinary users view Bitcoin? In your opinion, will Bitcoin succeed as a monetary system and be on par with traditional currencies in a few years' time, or will it remain a niche currency? Comments (please directly on the blog) from both critics and supporters are very much welcome. Thanks!

With promising outcomes for both the organization and its end user, cryptocurrencies offer real value in today’s tech world. Living in a world of a multiple currency system only restraints the true essence of “globalisation” , the crypto technology can potentially fill in these gaps.

Blockchain technology is here to stay and if harnessed well can provide global payment solutions which is not only trustworthy and efficient but also something which no other current financial institution is able to provide.
