LTCPP gone. Up for sale.  This is such a shame too see one of the biggest projects going now up for auction and up for sale due to the reasons below.

I'm one of the main developers of LTCPP, and after several hard months, I've finally came to the decision to part with the main assets. LTCPP started in early 2012 as a project to fill the gap caused by a lack of a payment processor like BitPay for Litecoin. Due to developmental delays, and fragmentation of the team we fell behind. LTCPP has effectively disbanded, leaving me with all of the main assets, including the domain, emails, and code.
Many of the main developers, as well as the manager of the project left the project early, effectively grinding LTCPP to a standstill.
I currently have very little spare time to work on LTCPP, as well as to look for more developers/management, and because of this, LTCPP is going to be sold off. All assets will be sold as a bundle to the highest bidder, and the auction will be opened in the next few days on BitcoinTalk, payable in both Bitcoin and Litecoin.

The LTCPP.NET domain name

All versions of the LTCPP sourcecode (we rewrote LTCPP at least 3 times, mostly because of "lead developers" leaving, and leftover devs abusing the chance to recode)
All internal documents for LTCPP

All prototype designs
The files will be delivered via a(n optionally GPG encrypted) tarball via your preferred method of file transfer. After personal information has been scrubbed from the Admin email for LTCPP, you will be provided with the credentials for the current email address, allowing you to reset the passwords of all LTCPP accounts to your preference. All communication can be delivered securely, encrypted with your GPG key on request.
Over the next few days I will be preparing the assets to a reasonable state, and the auction will be live sometime next week. This reddit thread will be updated once the auction is up.

Ah comon. We all THOUGHT it was one of the biggest projects, that's right. But we were wrong.
With many of the developers leaving the project early it seems that we all overestimated the meaning of ltcpp.
But I'm still at a loss about the exact connection between MtGox and LTCPP aside from a whois entry that stated "Tibanne" as the owner of ltcpp.net

Anyway: It's a loss for the whole ltc eco system and someone talented should buy and finish this project asap! we need a good ltc payment processor.

ltcpp was partly linked to Tibanne and for LTC going on MT Gox and am sure shortly their will be an announcement that LTC wont go to Gox and will eventually die out. Just waiting on confirmation and emails then will post proof

I personally feel LTC will just remain a coin to play with, but that has nothing to do with this project.

here i only see morons holding FTC, Frankos, and other garbage and try to kill the one that only has a future :)

I hold many alt coins and I am speaking to the dev of ltcpp now asking whats going on and so far its true that LTCPP is going on the market for sale. And more than likely to sell out my few thousands worth of LTC over the next few hours when moved from one place to another and moved everything into selling mode.

Because whois says Tibanne Privacy?

That is probably because it is registered through https://www.kalyhost.com/ which is from Tibanne. Everyone who registers a private domainname with kalyhost gets Tibanne Privacy as registrant in their whois. ::)

It's a shame the project is for sale now, but it won't do much to the price, like someone already mentioned, it's a non existent site at the moment. If it was fully functioning and merchants couldn't accept orders for LTC anymore it was a different story.

yes litecoin will fail , sell now so I could buy some cheap LTC

Guess this means I can take advantage of a relatively cheap price and acquire quite a few more. I'm willing to take a risk on the price going back up again.

Grredi left ltcpp long ago before he got demoted from litecoin talk and then went on a rampage and also then went missing in action after a lot of stuff that went on.

Going on auction is disappointing, yes, but it doesn't necessarily mean the end of ltcpp.
