Title: Would anyone be willing to try out my Bitcoin wallet provider?
Post by: raptorman556 on April 19, 2018, 04:28:09 AM
Hi guys,

I have created a free Bitcoin wallet service aimed primarily for beginners.  I'm just in the stage of testing it out, and I'm looking to see if anyone might be willing to do some beta-testing for feedback and possibly potential issues/bugs (let's hope not though).  Would anyone be interested in doing that?

Thank you!

I have a few questions:

  • Why is it aimed at beginners? Are you implementing beginner-friendly features that other wallets don't have?
  • Do testers have to install software on their computer?

This looks dangerous to me to be honest.

For a couple reasons:

1) Attempting to keep the layout as simple and functional as possible.  No extra clutter.
2) Mainly, I am attempting to build a learning center with free resources for beginners in the space to help them learn in the same place they keep their currency.  Hopefully reduce the confusion as much as possible.  This is drawn from own experiences getting started in Bitcoin, it can be confusing if you're starting from zero.

Do testers have to install software on their computer?

No, it is web based.

If there is anything I can do to make it seem less dangerous, I am all ears.  Any questions feel free to ask.

Me personally and a lot of people here most of the time wouldn't trust something that isn't open source. So you might take that into consideration.
