Its a bit frustrating considering I just want to make it into the "general discussion thread" to ask a security question, but I can see how this limitation could be necessary to keep the spam limited to the newbies section only.

I joined because of a post I found and would like to PM the author. While joining and going on a quick tour I found out how informative this site is. I understand the need for the newbie rules so that's cool. A word of advice for other newbies.. this is the second time I wrote this post because of the "360" second rule. I'm still figuring that out but I'm going to wait a few minutes and copy this before I post just so I don't lose it like the first time. Good luck to you all on your Bitcoining!
