Title: Pls help me! I think my account was compromise by a hacker!!!! Post by: darkangelosme on April 21, 2018, 09:45:32 AM Is this airdrop is real please help me! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3360867.0 there is an accusation post in that thread that it was a scam. And the sad part is i already signed up before I've read the accusation post. If it's a true scam there are possibilities that it was a hacker trying to stole our bitcointalk account. What do i need to do in order to prevent the lost of my account.

Just think about it for 10 seconds and the answer will be clear: you won't be. Even if you were hacked, any password/email changes would send an email to you and you could lock the account. I know your username so do everyone. It can not cause any problem. If I know your the password of your email address or if I can figure out the password of your BitcoinTalk account then there is something to be worried. I do not see any of these case here. So, just be cool. Always use a strong password for any account and advised to change it at least once in a six month. PS: I just rephrased actmyname's answer.
