I just logged onto the pool and sent a payment to the wallet that was in the deepbit pool payment section. I assumed it was my wallet and now I can't access the wallet. I have used bitcoin QT and the wallet id it has is different from the wallet I sent the coins to. My question is whose wallet did I send the coins to then?
Here's the address I sent them to: 1G5e3QnbMpzP21qDEJYu1DNMBu9bSPDFB6 I think it was ~1.3 bitcoins that were sent. If the bitcoin QT is up to date and has a different wallet id in it than the one I posted above does this mean my wallet.dat is for a different wallet and I sent it to someone elses? Thanks. Are you still using the same computer you were using 2 years ago? Is it possible you upgraded computers and did not copy over your wallet.dat file IF you installed QT on a different computer. If it is the case try and find an old copy of your wallet.dat file I'm sure you can figure the rest out from there ;) Title: Re: Please help!
