Title: Bitplay are not being honest [Be warned!!!] Post by: sieemma on April 22, 2018, 12:30:54 PM Warning!!! Warning!!! Warning!!! Bitplay: Website: https://bitplaytoken.com/ telegram: https://t.me/bitplaytoken bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1797092 Ann: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3268706 I am the campaign manager for bitplay signature campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3293342.msg34362886#msg34362886 In my terms with them(bitplay), I was told: participants of the campaign will be paid in btc, Lauda is in the process of being the escrow(with proof) I ended the campaign because they were not willing to get an escrow after Lauda made some clarifications on the signature campaign thread. I asked for week one payment for those participants who qualified and everything changed again: Our review showed an unexpected and poor conversion rate for the signature campaign in which we have decided to invest significantly in other means of marketing since we are running out of time on the pre-sales, in retrospect of this controversies, we have decided to pause the signature campaign since our metric shows an unrealistic benchmark towards the PreSale process, we have also deemed it right to allow all campaign participants hold our token as a deed of payment guarantee in which we would have to buy back tokens with BTC at the fixed current token PreSale rate after the conclusion of our PreSale. This should sound a word of caution to investors because they(bitplay) seem not ready for whatever they plan to do. Our sincere apologies once again for this unexpected turnout and considering the event that we need to do everything possible to making the PreSale a success, we hope you all bear with us and your understanding of this is greatly appreciated, we do value your support and it means a great deal to us. We implore all participants to update the thread with their ERC20 ETH wallet address and we would proceed to immediately allocate tokens. Thank you all for your co-operation and understanding. Sincerely. Moreover, they told participants that payment will begin immediately but as at now, no one has received the tokens they claim to give participants as a "deed of payment guarantee". Hopefully the results of this scam accusation will send ripples to other projects or ICOs, urging them think twice about ripping off our community.
That being said, I don't imagine this company will get very far, if they can't even pay their dues. Bitplay need to make this right, for the sake of their reputation. You're perfectly right on this mate, more and more projects are victimizing members of community, from Participants to Investors..now they will be having hard time.. Title: Re: Bitplay are not being honest [Be warned!!!] Post by: nabdaredevil on April 25, 2018, 08:38:01 AM Lame excuses regarding escrow and whats with "we decided to escrow the campaign by ourself". How do you do it without hving an escrow service. AFAIK and can understand Lauda did not refuse to escrow; just did not have the time to review the ICO, 2 completely different matters.
