The ICO uses such a smart account:
It has two states, an ETH address, which holds the address of the person who created the contract, and a dictionary that represents the mapping of the ETH address to an integer value. This is used to store the current share of each holder.
There are two main functions:
Receive function
Whenever ETH transfers are received, it calculates how many ABC coins to send to ETH's account based on the transfer amount and the proportionality factor, and then saves it in its own dictionary, adding the same amount of ABC coins to the account.
Destruction function
When the smart contract ends, the account will automatically send all his ETH coins to the creator's account.

I don't really think at a person who has no idea how to start an ICO may actually need it ever. If you have an idea of a great project (in your opinion) and no technical knowledge, just try to sell it to some people who can give it a life.

This is a little strange to me, you have an idea to publish ICO but you do not know how, you should consult with someone who is expert in issuing ICO!

My first advice : If you just want to make money, quit now and dont make any ICO.
Second : If you really serious with your project and think that your idea will work, go hire a professional.
Third : If you have no money to hire pro, try save some money for that or loan some from bank or friend of yours.
fourth : Still cant get money ? try build your own ICO by your self, but i dont think it will success.

And actually you can get any information you need by type it at google.

I totally agree. There are so many ICOs in 2017 and 2018, but if we check details, we will know that many projects don't need any coins or ICOs actually..............

We allready have enough for scam and shady ICO. I mean, cmon almos everyday new ICO laucnh but also 90% of them worth nothing. You can tell by the lack of explanation in their product and the whitepaper just have 5 page on it. If you really have nothing to offer and even if you have do you think it will work the way you want or not.

It depends on what kind of project you intend to start and what will be the nature of your crypto currency, it can be a whole coin ecosystem with its own wallet or a token based on eth network or waves, a token can be developed cheaply and quickly while a coin and unique blockchain with wallet takes considerable development, time and money.

You need an Idea, then hiring a team to develop it, then use Ethereum blockchain to issue your token. And most important, you must prove your project to make people use other crypto to buy your tokens, by marketing, etc

You can go to a platform for issuing icos now. They do everything for you. Marketing and issuance of the tokens, and conducting ico. You have to deal with the technical side though

As long as you have a good idea for a project, then not having the technical know how is not necessarily the end of the road. Best bet is probably to use one of the ICO launch platforms, they simplify the process for you, basically taking care of anything regarding setting up and running the ICO, and even post ICO support. There are a few options out there to do this, one launching their platform some time next month is https://coinstarter.com/ Check out the website and see what you think. If not, then as someone mentioned above, google is your friend.
