Hello all. i am just wondering how long it will generally take tradehill to send out the 24 hour bank wire? I set one up yesterday around 3PM edt.

I understand 24 hours has not passed. Yet it is business hours and the site seems to say "his method will send the wire transfer the same day if we receive your request early enough, typically before 2PM EST. Your bank may take more time to credit your account. "

So I am at a loss. As I do not know what to do in this situation. He has been offline with skype as well. I have emailed him today with no reply yet.

Can anyone inform me if the 2pm is when he will send them out?

Especially since you do not know tradehill apparently. As they have to manually send the transfers.

I have asked tradehill directly in email.

I have not received a response since yesterday.

I mainly want to know if he sends them out at 2 or if he sends them out at random times.

By he I am referring to the person in which did responded to me yesterday.

If you know of another way besides skype and email to contact them. I am all ears.

Actually the term used is same day. Not 24 hours.

I wasn't sure you were serious, now it seems you are. TH policy as you listed above reads something like:

If you initiate a wire transfer request at or before 2:00p EST the wire transfer from our account to yours will be initiated on our end within the day of the request (by 5:00p EST). A wire transfer request after 2:00p EST will be initiated on our end the following business day (by 5:00p EST).

Apparently you initiated a wire transfer request yesterday at 3:00p EST (after their 2:00p EST cut-off time). Your wire transfer will be initiated on TH side by 5:00p EST today.

You may have other delays related to your bank.

I got a PM here and said he was looking into it. It is now almost 5pm edt. Will I still be charged the $25 if it is not in today?

It is now past 5pm. What should I do? This makes it 26 hours for a same day transfer.

We've switched banks so we had some downtime on wires and I need to apologize for that. We also opened additional accounts so if there is a delay with the main account we'll just send it from another in the future.

I can blame it on the bank or we can accept responsibility. You put the request in for a same day wire and didn't get it the same day so we're going to pay the bank fees ourselves.

I hate to ask this. Is there any way I can get the information of the new bank? As my bank is a pain in the tush. Or was the BOA account the one used. Because my bank is saying it did not receive it yet. I am not sure if your bank released it yet.

I've got the wire transfer in 2 and a half days after sending the email for their secondary bank.

I have has a few bank wires lost in limbo for up to two weeks complete with lame excuses and finger pointing galore. I do not do them anymore.
