If someone agreed to pay you 10 btc which is currently valued at around $90k USD to legally change your name to bitcoin, would you? And you're not allowed to change your name back for at least 5 years.

I would probably do it and name my firstborn after bitcoin for 10 btc.

I've rather do it too haha! its not hard to change your name into bitcoin and use it in your intire life as long as they are really paid me 10btc. But i think thats impossible to happen that there's someone dare you to change your name into bitcoin and paid you 10btc. :D

I would be happy if someone paid me 10 btc just by changing the name to bitcoin, and it seems I'm also happy with the bitcoin name.

Why not, this is too attractive to resist. After all my friends are already calling me bitcoin without a charge. It wouldn't be bad to be legally known as Bitcoin for 90000 dollars.

I don't know where you are from and don't know for sure the regulations of changing first name in many countries in the world also. But in Vietnam, my country, it shall cost you guy at least 3 years and $20.000 to finish that "complicated task".
So, if I am offered 10 btc to change my first name and remaining it for at least 5 years, I shall seriously not accept.

I would definitely do this. It would be hard to find a job and make college difficult with the name Bitcoin, but not impossible... And it would make the news. I mean 10 BTC could easily be two Million USD in 5 years. I would do this in an instant.

I will not be wasting this opportunity. 10 btc it's a lot, and it's likely to increase in value if it's held in the next few years, yeah maybe for five years it could reach its $ 100,000 perBTC price. But it seems that it is just a dream, no one will give 10 btc for a name only. If there are, he's just a madman who has a lot of money.

Well, for me I will definitely grab that oppotunity to be paid with 10btc depends on what reason why he wants me to change my name in this forum. If the reasons is acceptable and agreed by the moderators i will definitely accept the offer.

I think its a naughty idea but whatever my name is would be as long as i can have 10btc thats a huge money if converted to fiat then i will become a millionaire if in case theres such thing.I probably grabbed these rare opportunity because bitcoin would positively fluctuate anytime and it will brings Huge profit for me.

How many firstborn child you want? I guess I am making three for now and still counting and yeah probably we will have the same thoughts on the challenge. I would rather give the name to the child and not for me and that child will receive 10 btc because the money is for the child and not for me. And for that i will just get 5% of that 10 btc for the commission. Anyway if that child wants to change the name could probably done thay with the 10 btc being awarded and there could have enough change for it to spend for what the child needs and wants. So it is a win win situation.

If we convert 90K USD to our local currency that would be less than 5M pesos already and it is a hell lot of money. I could do a lot for the said amount and yes, i would gladly do it in exchange for 10 btc.

I'll do this it's easy since my name can be changed back for 5 years it's like I'm paid for changing my name 2 BTC per year.

For simply doing that? That's an easy money and you know that nowadays people are striving to earn just for the sake of his family or goals.

Well that's an easy money just legally change your name to bitcoin, I definitely would do that if they really pays me 10 bitcoin.

Oh yeah I am getting the affidavit done right away keep my 10 BTC's ready brother!  :D Off course it is yes mate, who would not do that. Does my name matters as long as I am not famous! Oh yeah wait if I do change my name that way then probably I will be in the news channels and magazines for doing so and there it is I am famous because my name Bitcoin. That sounds cool idea and I think there is nothing that should stop me from doing that. Also it gets even better when you said, you have to keep it for 5 years only. Yes, why not! But I won't do it at least in next 10 years. It's not about changing the name for money but as a respect for something that has changed the life. I must mention the name of Kim Schmitz here who changed his last name from Schmitz to Dotcom as it was something that has changed his life. This would be a cool idea for two minutes of fame but at the same time it would be weird for the people around us.

Of course, I will do it. There's nothing wrong about bitcoin name, does my name matters? haha! I am here to gain and to explore, but gaining it that way, won't lessen my pride. and I love calling me a bitcoin.

Practically speaking, yes I would change my name for 10 btc.  But then also not for family's sake because my name was given to me by my parents and I am so proud of having it.  That means, this is a tough decision I'll have to make.

I don't think such an offer will come. But if it does come, I will say no to it even though I am a die hard fan of bitcoin. But changing my name to bitcoin, no, I wouldn't do that. Hold your 10BTC and leave my name for me. My name is worth more than $90K!

Why not? 10 btc is more than enough. Theres nothing to lose if you change your name. And if anyone dares you to do that challenge then he/she is the only one who knows that it was your real name. A lot of people would wonder if that is your real name because you and the person who dare you only know the truth.

I would! But I would like to ask them if I could atleast be called bitcoinette or bitconnie haha anyways for 10 bitcoin I wouldn't mind of changing my name if I could secure the future of my family with a story I could tell them laughing. :D

If I we;re given a chance to change my name to bitcoin and in exchange it will give me 10BTC no problem as long as it would'nt hurt me and 10BTC is too high here in our country so I will use that for me to have a good life.

Well, I would be happy to be called BITCOIN as long as they pay me! Haha. 10 BTC = 900k$ as you have stated. That's a whole lot of money. Even though it seems impossible, if a certain moment come to my life, I would gladly change it. Because, it is not a bad thing. haha feels ridiculous and I think changing the name to bitcoin is not too important and it will endanger you because the name of auto bitcoin will make you a target of joke material and most likely you will be taunted some people because it has a silly name, you are also not the creator bitcoin so do not be a silly person because of bitcoin. and i will accept 10 bitcoin then i will change your name if i can, LOL  ;D ;D

To me . I will not agree. I want to get my bitcoin by myself without needing someone for me and asking me to change my name to bitcoin for 5 years. with my current bitcoin number. I can take care of myself and live a happy life.

If it is really happens, i would probably grab and take the opportunity they give because this is a blessings that they wanna share to you. I will be thankful for this as you convert this 900$ will be the equivalent of 10 bitcoin such a big money. Even though they change legally my name i will accept this offer because name can't help otherwise money is the first one thing to help our family.

I've heard of such an advertising campaign Apple. Only prize was a new iPhone would. I don't understand. It's worse for me than prostitution. This money will not make you happy but you will always be the mark of a corrupt person. Everyone has to earn a living. Only in this case you will learn to appreciate the money and will be ready to Finance your future life.

That's something ridiculous but it has already happened not with Bitcoin but with iPhone 7. In Ukraine, a shop offered a few free iPhones if they changed their names to iPhone 7. And there were people who actually did it. What's the problem if you can change it later. It would be difficult in my country to change my name to Bitcoin because of the law and officials. I would consider this kind of offer because... It's a bit funny and could encourage other people in my surroundings to read about Bitcoin.

If five years does not matter and not forever, why not if someone is right there to pay for it, I'll change my name to bitcoin. really funny i think, imagine there will be a newspaper with a front page that read "somebody named bitcoin suddenly just rich with wealth reaching 90 $ without doing anything".if true i will split it, 3 btc I will withdraw to buy that I like, 2 btc I will use to pay people who want to change his name into "bitcoin second" ,5 btc I will hold on the wallet because bitcoin will continue to soar the price. what is the meaning of a name

Lol.. I wouldn't do it for such amount. I mean sure, 10 BTC will be a fortune eventually, but having to deal with the annoyance of having "Bitcoin" for your name is pretty insane. For 100 BTC I would do it, since by the time the 5 year period ends I would be so rich that being named "Bitcoin" would actually be cool.

But ideally, I would need 1000 BTC, then I would change surname as well. I would also call my pets, potential kids and anything else Bitcoin as well.

For me,no.The sentimental value of my name is heavy,so it will take more than that to make me change my name.There's also regulation in my country regarding the change name legally,so much paper work.For that amount,it's not worth it.

What type of question are now asked on this forum ? Name and so on, I think we should stuff related to bitcoin quires rather than creating useless thread for everyone out there. These question have simple Yes or No. Like in the OP, anyone will accept 10 BTC for changing their name. As, if name or something could earn money, then why not.

I can see that it's against the rule, it's just a matter of pride and reputation so It's not a big problem for me.
Maybe the problem occur on my dad and mom !
