I have a pending/unconfirmed deposit to cryptopia I made the deposit on April 20th 2018, means it has been 3 days. Firstly their support response quickly but then they said that my issue will be investigated further. But they don't give any update untill now.

My intention to share this issue here is mainly to ask if any of you has the same experience, does your issue has been resolved? How long does it takes? Or Cryptopia do not solve this kind of issues?

Check whether Cryptopia wallet are currently lagging behind or not.

From my understanding, most of Cryptopia Deposit problem are because their wallet lagging behind from the Network, making your coins technically not appreared on their wallet yet.
Besides that, you either can wait update from Customer Support or post your issues on their ANN topic

The GBYTE wallet seems all fine, its status is active and no other notification/note related to wallet maintenance/lag,

It is not only you , i have made 0.578 Gbytes deposits almost 5 days ago , submitted a ticket , posted in their thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.msg35258102#msg35258102)  , but not any respond!
The thing is in the coininfo they says gbyte wallet works ok but it seems not!

I had the same issue before and contacted them but never receive any response from them and my issue never solved. I heard that the support of cryptopia is nearly same as yobit support that is why I stop complaining about the altcoin that I deposit before also the other coins that I can't withdraw are still stock in my cryptopia account.
I suggest you if ever you can chat on their page try to contact them there.

3 days waiting is still a short period, well at least on my case and based on the average waiting time of people in general.

I have a SDRN deposit problem last month and it was successful but didn't reflect on my Crytopia SDRN wallet and it takes 5 days before they responded to my ticket. As usual, they will investigate but the best thing here, I only wait less than 24 hours after they respond and my balance reflected to my wallet. They not respond that the problem is solved now. I just noticed it because Im kind of in a hurry because I really want my SDRN to be credited.

The only people that will able to credit you with your GBYTEs will be cryptopia.

Wait some more. That's pretty much all you can do, for now. 3 days is probably not enough for them to sort out this issue that seems to be affected others as well. I'd recommend that you be patient in the meantime and wait another ~2 weeks or so, they should be able to resolve this issue in the mean time if they're serious about it.

It does seem like that Byteball wallets are fine and are active looking at their coininfo page. So I'm not entirely sure what's causing this. Perhaps it is because of their wallets lagging behind, there is nothing to confirm that, however.

I guess the problem is with the exchange.
I also have the same issue with Gbyte deposit to Cryptopia. Checked the wallet status at their coininfo and everything was fine. It has been 6 days now, I managed to contact them through Facebook and the admin there told me that the issue has been escalated by their technical support team. Its just so frustrating that youre not recieving any updates via ticket, its like your waiting for nothing.

Sometimes it gets stuck if someone is using VPN to access cryptopia I've experienced it and you need to be clear to process the withdrawal request so the moderators of cryptopia didn't look on your account as suspicious the way it was programmed by default.

Or Gbyte is just having an issues.

Their support gives the same reply too, simply need to wait as their team are investigating it further.

Their coininfo page shows the current block height for each of their coins, it seems Gball are in sync though, so technically if everything is ok OP's Gbyte along with others are inside Cryptopia's wallet.

Cryptopia is gaining a lot of attention somehow because of their fail services and by waiting at almost week will tell you that your hope is not really helping you should do something but then again you can't do anything since it was the exchanges problem. How many complaints does cryptopia wants before they do something?

That would be a perfect outcome, especially if people did that on a larger scale, but it's already enough to just stop using these shitty exchanges and just focus on Binance and similarly capable exchanges run professionally.

It's clear that they aren't doing anything regardless of how severe and urgent the situation has been for months straight. If they aren't suffering from insolvency, then hiring more staff would be a good start.

It would allow them to swoop through their backlog much quicker, but they don't seem to be interested in that. It all comes down to how much of a cheapskate they are, which just like months ago, should have been a red flag for people.

Its funny how Cryptopia let this happen to the costumers when costumer service must be the priority in every businesses. I know it isnt a scam or something, they just lack of enthusiasm to serve their customers, all they think about is the profit that they get from their business.
I guess with all these negative reviews against them, people will gradually withdraw from their Exchange.

Are they really doing something about GBYTE pending deposit, the wallet is active and seems like no maintenance at all, they not even  at least give statement or reply on the tickets what is actually the problem,

Double check if the bitcoin transaction is confirmed or still pending in your online wallet or desktop wallet. If it is confirmed then contact their support team in telegram, facebook or twitter im sure they have those and ask for assistance. Another option is to wait till they back to you.

By the way guys, quick update, finally they are investigating the deposit issue and the wallet is now on maintenance.

Thats good! I noticed a maintenance as well, I hope they're really into it and resolved this issue already. I cant wait to reflect my Gbyte balace to my account.

Don't expect them to fix this one quickly. This wallet maintenance might take a few days up to a month with how they're handling problems. I also have some gbyte stuck in their exchange for the past two weeks so I feel everyone's pain in waiting.

Yeah, I made a quick a review regarding Gbytes issues with Cryptopia and yes, it took almost a month for them to fix everything (lenght of waiting before executing a solution excluded) overall they waited almost 3 months I guess . I dont know why they consume too much time to fix every issues they've experienced. Maybe they lack of manpower to go over check the backlog? Or something like that?

Usually they would really make a move on such issue if it do already made some noise because they do know their reputation is at risk on here if they would tend not to make any actions towards this problem.Good to hear out to my fellow signature members that they are already seeing some light to get their payouts that is being stucked on the exchange thats quite a good amount for you not to be worried of. ;)

Quick update, 14 days since they began for investigating the byteball deposit issues, and still nothing happend.

I would just keep any kind of expectations on the lower side when it comes to them solving the matter, or at least know what's going on. There are enough people out there waiting for months without any update from support.

I find it difficult to understand that with everything that's going on with this exchange, which goes back all the way to last year, it still grows. Somehow people keep using it and keep registering.

I get it that they are flooded with queries (which is the result of their incompetence), but this is just crazy. May I ask if you are just patiently waiting for them to respond, or are you actively forcing through a reply?

Seems like they are not into their reputation right now since if you locate their thread you may see that there are still so many complains against them and I'm not sure that I can trust them up anymore since they becoming a shit like Yobit exchange. So for good inconvenience better to try those other exchange which gives a better trading service.

After seeing a lot of complaint threads on their subreddit it's really hard to expect that they would easily fix it in less than a month. A lot of people use this exchange because it's not required to give out your personal info and you won't see the some of the coins listed in other exchanges.

No surprise there we might have to wait for at least a month or more before we receive our bytes. I say this because I saw a user deposit a different coin and he waited for like 3 months before it went through.

It is hard to believe that a reputable exchange like cryptopia will take it's customers for a ride and showing no response from customer timely is a failure on their path, absolutely this will discourage potential traders who will not joke with there hard earned money, if these are technical issues I believed it should been fixed else refunds customers coins.

Many issues now facing cryptopia exchange, yes I personally don't believe that this site was having a trouble like this just like they don't care their costumers complain regarding there site. Aside from cryptopia exchange, I think the best exchange site is Bittrex I have an account there so far I don't have any problem and GBYTE was available to trade on their site.

Well, hopefully, cryptopia support team will quickly respond to that problem for the sake of their reputation.

I have received my gbytes too and wrote it on their thread , But I hope changelly bring back gbyte soon , It is much more easier to don't have to use any kind of exchange just for changing the coin!

Glad to see my Gbyte on my wallet already after almost a month OMG, I just missed a lot of trading opportunity that makes a good profit.
I guess they already fixed the wallet issue and have returned all the pending deposit.

can you tell us how you get resolution on your case ? it was automatically solved or you mailed to their senior team or someone else ?
because in past i face issue with ether withdrawal , i mailed them , created a ticket , nothing happened , after many days it shown in my ether address surprisingly .

Since the issue between you and cryptopia and on most people on here which do have similar deposits had been resolved already then its much wiser to close up this topic. Thanks


Thats really a long wait which do really shows up on how poor is the technical support of the site.If they do mean up on having a maintenance then week time would really be sufficient.
Instead on minding for next deposits success better not to use their wallet on receiving those gbytes.

Well yeah, one worse experience from an exchanger is enough. I mean they are a good exchanger with volume of traders everyday, but what separates them from other exchanges is their horrible customer support.
That got me really frustrated, I might be relieved from being mad at the them if they managed to constantly communicate with me.
That was almost a month of waiting game.  :-\ and that was not a good experience.
