Title: The art of price predictions
Post by: AlGovorov on April 23, 2018, 10:28:12 AM
When it comes to price forecasts, we see a lot of different opinions: who says bitcoin will go down to $ 900, who says it will go up to $ 100,000. In this branch, not only do I want to know by what signals and technical analysis you determine how much and when btc and other altcoins will cost?

When it comes to investing in Bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency, it is imperative to have a backup plan. Most notably, a worst-case scenario.
That's the only advice I can give you, I guess... Try to make choices that you can live with.  ;)

a lot of people are saying random shit on the internet but they are not "predicting" anything they are bullshiting some guess in both cases actually.

there is no reason for bitcoin to go that low ever and there is no reason for it to rise that big now. there is a solid rise going on and we are headed to much higher prices, that is all you can say.

well TA doesn't work at all when it comes to altcoins. you can try using it and get lucky to get a couple of speculations right but generally it doesn't work for them at all.

As for the technical analysis - it should not be trusted in the crypto currency market. More important here is the fundamental analysis.

There are a lot of factors which determines altcoin prices with the first and foremost being Bitcoin price. It is fair enough to say that altcoin markets follow Bitcoin pairs and this is pretty much evident from data. Next comes developmental things like progress through the roadmap, new additions and implementations which usually push prices up.
Then again, it all depends on if the markets being controlled by whales who are manipulating prices and predicting accurate prices becomes a hard task.

I dont believe in price forecasts thats spamming the internet. Bitcoin going down $900 or going up to $100,000 is a total nonsense. It would be better to follow your instinct as you check out the price trend for the past months or weeks.

Let me tell you a secret. The art of price predictions is language and communications. Now take a look at the past big headlines about price predictions, both bull and bears.

Notice how very few of them use technical analysis. And even if they do, it is only circumstance with not much evidence other than the charts they want you to see.

McAfee made his prediction first, then others made charts for his model. So do not be fooled. Every prediction is a guess. Nothing more.

I dont use technical analysis at all. I was always for the fundamental analysis. I find a good project and then wait for the market to achieve the right price. Technical analysis is good but not for me and not for such influential markets, which can be rocked by a media headline

Can you tell me all of those factors to determine the price of altcoin because i only know that in fact, it's unpredictable? When it comes to the low tier altcoins and then people can easily to pump it as they want.
The progress of development doesn't mean a lot right now. The only important thing is about the major trend of the crypto that affects everything in the crypto.

Ok, many have become self-claimed crypto gurus and tried to make predictions. It is a volatile market and whoever says it can predict it, has no idea what is he saying.
As some have already stated above, have a worst-case scenario plan. AKA don't invest money you are not willing to lose. And if you watch football, you might be a winner too, because you can gen crypto without investing anything. FootballCoin gives you the change to be an online manager.

To Predict the price of any Crypto , number of parameters are required to be taken care of. Do not Totally rely on technical tools only. use your own research before investing in any coin. My current suggestions are BTC, HXX, and BUZZ.

It is impossible to predict or analyze the value of cryptocurrency. In this market can be guided only by logic, to draw conclusions on the basis of the situation. If you believe in cryptocurrency, it should be based on the fact that it will grow every year, so buy cryptocurrency and keep it for a long time will be logical. If the price increases for a long time and all the news trumpet records, sell, after the growth is always a correction of the market. If the market falls for a long time, respectively, we begin to buy parts with an eye to the fact that perhaps the bottom has not yet been reached.

In predicting of the cryptocurrency price, it is not easy. You need an information and analyze things, you need to be an observer. Before you predict an price of the cryptocurrency you must know or you must have an data of the price chart every year and the dropping price amd the rising rate of it. Also you have to be ypdate every hours in the counmarketcap and lastly ypu need to be update about the problems in the market

Try to view video and read articles about trading and you can learn a lot from it. Technical Analysis really helps to predict the price. If you have knowledge to look at the candlesticks, you will never hear or trust upon the opinion of others regarding to the future price of the coin. Price prediction is a helpful way to gain profits in trading and losing of your capital may lessen if you know something with it.

The basic tools are used for price prediction which are very effective based on my experience is the support/resistance line and the fibonacci retracement. If you are really serious to learn the art of price prediction you should master these two TA tools which are very basic in traders.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Bitcoin is that investing in popular digital currencies will generate wealth overnight, And they believe in unreasonable predictions, in the end there is only regret.

It is all just blind prediction. They might show graphs or anything that will make it look like it is legit but at the end you can call it a wild guess. Everything is.

You cannot monitor every trading website for there are a lot of them. That is also one good thing about bitcoin and other alts. You dont know who will dump or who will buy again. Should everyone tell it? ;D

This is just a pure speculative forecast as nothing is sure about the movements of those coins unless your part of the pumps and dumps. Yeah sometimes the graphical data will helps to find the a good model but this is not a guarantee that will give you profits. The long term investments is still a good strategy to those who had limited time doing some monitoring about the trends. Patience is still necessary on this technology.

My prediction will always base on the past or base on the trend on the past years like for example If I will predict the price of bitcoin will reach $ 20000 in month of july. My reason of why $20000, is the highest price of bitcoin is $19000 plus so it's very clear that btc is capable of reaching that price and also I notice that the highest price has been increasing every year, and another thing  I notice that almost every July the price of bitcoin from June will be doubled.
But for me the most reliable price predictions are from STATISTICIAN.

I think there is no perfect pill such as ideal signal or forecast, neither technical analysis works perfectly, as normal distribution doesn’t work here.

I think only a crazy news says down to 900$ or up to 100,000$

This is not some lottery or jackpot
It’s a market enhanced by so many functions
Which means you need to get every priorities right and proper too

Just have a Plan B and don’t end up in loss

more predictions are not totally happens, almost 80% of all professional predictions are just a rumors. and the 20% are just a simple faith you have in a coins you have/holding. meaning the price/value of a coins are rely on the community that using or have a maximum volume of trade everyday. thats why you can only see what will surly happens after the growth of the community who supports the projects/coins. and no one of those predictions are accurate.

There are too many price predictions in crypto. Everybody have the own opinion on where the market will go to. I suggest you to read the predictions with a pinch of salt. Crypto is very responsive to news, so I guess fundamental analysis is better here.

I think the way to read the future crypto market potential is not always the same. The goal is the same.
Each individual has a different ability different. For that we must respect it, because it is a freedom.

There are different price predictions in crypto. Everyone has their own opinion on where the market will be going. O would suggesting you to read every prediction you'll see. Media have their full attention on crypto, so I think that fundamental analysis here is better.

Few decisions have to be based on rationale grounds:

- Cryptocurrencies have just started

- Previous bubbles examples have been worth several trillion dollars

- Blockchain tech is ground-breaking, not going to vanish in a few years.
