Title: My Litecoin setup. How do I maximize my output? Post by: inevitable7 on November 18, 2013, 09:01:11 PM https://i.imgur.com/Feb5NhB.png
So I'm currently getting around 190 KH/s but I saw in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.msg3608868#msg3608868 that user nonny12 is getting around 50 more KH/s than I am. I notice that he has a very slight overclock compared to me but does that really warrant that much of a boost in performance? I think he's using some different flags as I am using no flags at all. I want to ask him about what flags he's using in his launch.bat but I'm a newbie and I can't post outside the newbie forums. If someone can refer nonny12 to this thread, I would greatly appreciate it. Title: Re: My Litecoin setup. How do I maximize my output? Post by: inevitable7 on November 18, 2013, 09:12:50 PM I'm also wondering if I can use an ASIC Miner to mine litecoins. So far, I have not been able to find information on this question.

How do I maximize my output? Post by: CryptoJunky on November 18, 2013, 09:37:03 PM Currently there aren't any ASICs built for litecoin mining. The ASICs that are available work only for Bitcoin mining. As for maximizing your hashing speed on your GPU, it takes a bit of tweaking and settings adjustment.
This wiki has some information: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison GUIMiner Scrypt has some presets that are pretty good and usually are more efficient that defaults.
