Title: Anyone willing to sell bitcoins for paypal?
Post by: belginfish on November 18, 2013, 09:26:16 PM
hey,

I know people don't generally trade bitcoins for paypal because of how easy it is for the seller to get scammed but I'm hoping I can find someone.

I have flawless reputation on a few internet marketplaces and run a little coding / software business if that helps boost your confidence a bit. We can chat before the sale.

Let me know, I'd really appreciate it

Thanks

Like you mentioned, it's really easier to scam the seller, and there's really no recourse for them. Have you considered alternative purchasing options? Coinbase allows for direct deposit from a bank account, or you could try localbitcoins for a cash exchange.

Yeah I probably will end up doing that, the thing is there's a mismatch with the name on my paypal account and bank account so I can't deposit funds from my paypal account to my bank account. So basically now I just have cash coming into my paypal account from my business but way to get it out, thought I'd buy bitcoins with it but maybe I'll have to find another way to get it out.

Withdraw your paypal to your bank and you can use it to buy bitcoin via bank transfer or western union.

I can't withdraw to my bank because my bank account name and paypal account names are not identical,

the paypal accounts been verified with a vcc and a vba, which I know sounds a little sketchy but everything's legit and all the funds are fine.

To be bluntly honest, the chances of you completing a Paypal deal with that backstory during this current goldrush is slim to none.

The whole thing sounds sketchy a lot not just a little.

Try with a trusted escrowee (another member)

It's not about using escrow or not. He may send first and then use chargeback after he receives his coins. Paypal allows the sender to do that easily thats why noone makes business with btc and paypal.

Are there other payment methods where you can simply just attach your credit card on and send just like paypal?
