Title: User "critical" - Sending Virus links
Post by: mogs on November 18, 2013, 11:19:32 PM
Here is a PM I just received, I never communicated with this guy.

I have 160 BTC for sale and can accept PP.

Get BitChat please, then get me your ID. I'm ready to proceed with this deal whenever you are.
Download link if you don't have it: http://www.**********.com/BitChatSetupv4.1.021.exe

He wants me to DL a chat client.. LOL please!

Now look at his post count. Its a decent size, however he has been silent on the forums until just now. It seems clear this is a hacked account that is being used to pass keyloggers to unsuspecting people. This is a recurring theme here. They will also try and use a  random Localbitcoins account to pass off as theirs.

BCT should implement a 2 step verification system if they are going to allow buying and selling on here.

I got a PM from him to talk on Skype. When I said I don't use Skype, he sent this:

When I asked him who the hell he was he responded:

"I want to buy BTC and you contacted me ealier."

I don't sell BTC right now on this forum, nor have I ever talked to him.

Account was compromised. It is now banned pending verification that the owner has reclaimed the account.

Please include a link to user when posting scam accusations, because if you make a typo, you can accuse someone else.
Also, use the quote feature, because it's hard to read and know what's from him and what's from you.

Is that him (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=36684)?

EDIT : for some reason I failed to read all the previous answers, sorry.  ;D

XD
I think I know who he is, just a second let me check.

edit: He is Alex Yucel aka Blackshades RAT admin/owner and a known scammer. He's from moldova or sweden probably.
