Title: GPU mining pool? Post by: alikim on February 12, 2011, 08:57:44 AM Hi all,
Is there currently a free GPU mining pool I could join? Thanks! Title: Re: GPU mining pool? Post by: Cryptoman on February 12, 2011, 05:02:45 PM What do you mean by "free?" None of them require any payment upfront from you. Both Slush's and BitPenny's pools only charge a commission once you've contributed some mining effort. I think this is entirely reasonable. Slush said he plans to go back to allowing free mining once he gets his bandwidth issues sorted out.

There's a good list here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools Title: Re: GPU mining pool? Post by: bsuperior2 on June 20, 2013, 06:14:37 PM I would say go with Slush. His price is very reasonable and i have had zero issues.

The larger mining pools are a bit too expensive, and the smaller pools don't find blocks often enough for my liking. Title: Re: GPU mining pool?
