Myetherwallet is having problems, people do not have access to their myether wallet.

Seems the best thing to do is avoid mew at all till the problems are solved. Even though the problem is not on mew side , it is still a big problem with crypto. You forget to check the url one time and something like this happens.

wooooh another problem with MEW, before it was ED.
i just so lucky that it was a week from now that i am not using MEW wallet to transfer.
i will just wait till the issue is okay.
and once okay i will get new wallet address. ill be more on metamask too.

Oh and I just used MEW yesterday to transfer funds. Keep safe everyone, make sure the site you transact with has a 'secure' or green connection on the address bar.

This is just crap. I accessed my etherwallet earlier today. I dont know if my funds are intact. I hope they are. Im afraid to check now maybe there are still ongoing issues. I'll just wait a few days and hope my tokens and eth are all intact. These hackers are really doing everything to steal our hard earned money.

in my opinion, Myetherwallet is not a problem, maybe Myetherwallet's problematic because of the wrong url, because if the original URL is not problematic.
then be careful when opening the Myetherwallet URL.

Sorry for the loss from those people who logged their private key to the website, it is stated that the hackers accumulated hundreds of ETH and
tons tokens from the Phishing site disguised as the official website using the google DNS to fool someone, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 is the Ip for the said DNS and it is clearly stated that it is not on the side of the official website based on the official tweet of the MEW team Here (https://twitter.com/myetherwallet/status/988787116015415296) stay safe everyone and make it sure that the browser will not flag the website as not secured or not HTTPS, it is always prompting before entering the website.

They said they got hijaked and make the user turn into phised web ? Funny Enough ;D

i think they have a metamask or EAL or Cryptonite, i always use MetaMask so "they" can steal or know your private key.

Btw are this problem will make a bad price for eth ?

I thought that I'm the only person whose experiencing this kind of thing I believe they were hijacked or hacked. Don't go with mew for a while. They will update us on twitter.

This news are really shocking. But the problem is that this problem hapens too often for last period. Using Metamask is very interesting idea, but Metamask may be used with Chrome brouser only, no other browsers. But taking into consideration so much risks it really would be better to use Metamask and Chrome but not to be afraid of being hacked or to loose all coins from your MEW wallet.

Really would recommend everyone looking into using a hardware wallet, they might seem expensive but better safe than sorry.

Thank you for prompt information! It's good that I read this before turning to the assets in my wallet. I also watched how quickly and many ETH collected a phishing address on their wallet. I regret the loss of these people. Some had really big savings.

Avoid using the mew is the Best thing One can do at this situation. This is definitely not good for Cryptocurrency world as attacks like this certainly slowing the mass adoption of Blockchain Technology as people thinking about the security of their valuable holdings. MEW should be very careful here otherwise They will ruin their great Brand like ED faced in 2018 because of constant hacking attempts.

I have been following this thread from last four hours. I am scared to access my tokens through MEW. Never expected them to run into such a problem. It makes me believe that nothing is safe on the internet. I feel the site is not compromised but the DNS where the site is being hosted is. I will wait for at least 24 hours before using this website.

I have used MEW today morning without any problem. Now what is hearing is not expected. OH Allah, save all investors' ETH and other coin from the heinous hackers.

Fittingly, I'd guess the phishing site being the cause. I hope all can begin to take care of this. of course we all want the best and doesn't want anything like this to happen on a MEW we have. Hopefully not soon resolved.

Recently, MEW is continuously attacked by hackers so I think people should switch to a cold wallet as Ledger Nano S is safer than it is stored in online wallets like MEW, Coinbase. Or the safest thing is to transfer the whole number of crypto to USD and then to the personal account or bank is the most reliable :)))

Thank you. I'm gonna try that later. I just hope my tokens are all in there. I can't imagine if they're not. I worked my way to earn those tokens and also my eth. I was just checking my tokens if they are already in there that's why i accessed mew. I don't usually check my mew but that day i was tempted to for some reason.
