Title: What does this mean?
Post by: luchins on April 24, 2018, 06:55:27 PM
Hello can I  ask you what  does this  mean?

iExec RLC iExec RLC (RLC)

1.56 USD (2.95%)
0.00016669 BTC (-2.50%)
0.00222689 ETH (-6.45%)

As   you can see, the price of  Iexec,  is +2.95%  if  compared  to $ (dollar)

But  compared  to bitcoin  is -2.50%

Compared to Eth is -6,45%

What  does  this  mean?

1)  RLC is  doing better  than Btc  and Eth

2)  RLC is doing a bad performance, if compared to bitcoin and ethereum

3)  Bitcoin  and ethereum are rising more  than RLC

What that percentages  do they  mean?

the percentages are the change in price over a time frame (usually 24h) Like most alts the the main value of that coin is compared to another big cryptocurrency (almost always BTC or ETH) so if the coin loses value or is traded for lesser price in BTC it is red, but the USD value is calculated with BTC's price in USD. RLC specifically speaking: 50% of the total volume is being traded on binance against BTC. so the value of the coin is this case is determined by BTC, the price is lower in bitcoin but the price of bitcoin changed and increased so you see it green.

The only correct thing ethereum and bitcoin were doing better than RLC. RLC looks lost on its bitcoin and ethereum value that means there is an increase to the both of the major coins that gives a lot of impact to the price of RLC into the various pair. I guess the number 3 is the correct answer about that.

That data shows you the result of the price of the tokens your monitoring for a period of 24 hours. It show you the statistics of the movement price of that coins whether the coin price increases of decreases. It is a great help for tracking the price of the coin.
