Summary
When the same cryptocurrency is listed on multiple exchanges, there is often a slight mismatch in prices between exchanges. Arbitrage captures that price difference as profit without regards to price movement.
Veritas Capital draws on professional program trading experience in traditional capital markets to create and continually improve upon reliable and highly profitable automated trading methods. Additionally, traders monitor trades at all times to ensure that all trades are backed by appropriate analysis and properly executed. Veritas combines modern efficiency with human expertise. Investors receive a 20% target monthly return on invested ETH, distributed weekly. Veritas Capital will initiate a multi-week pilot on April 30 with limited capital to test the operational methods and structure of the Fund prior to a full launch. The duration of the pilot is anticipated to be between 2-6 weeks. Due to its limited scope and iterative nature, no fees will be assessed during the pilot.

With frequent single-day price fluctuations of over 10%, cryptocurrency investments demand a massive risk appetite that is intimidating to nearly any investor. By utilizing Ether (ETH) as the primary trading pair and base peg against which returns are measured, the Generational Fund is able to offer investors the ability to maintain exposure to price growth in the underlying Ethereum while realizing derisked profits via the arbitrage strategy.

• Target return on principal: 20% monthly return, or 5% per week

• Lockup period: 1 full trading period, defined as the time from one distribution to the next

Early investor rewards
As mentioned, fees are waived for the duration of the pilot program. Pilot investors also have the right to carry funds over to the full launch ahead of other investors, and pay reduced fees in the full launch as described below.

• Investments in first pilot period (April 30-May 7): At full launch, no fees ever charged on capital up to 10x amount invested
• Investments in second pilot period (May 7-14):  At full launch, half fees charged on capital up to 10x amount invested
• All subsequent pilot periods (May 14 to conclusion of pilot): At full launch, half fees charged for three months on capital equal up to 10x amount invested

Excellent questions. Trade identification is fully automated and execution is partly so, but human approval is required for every trade. Due to the unpredictable nature of cryptocurrency markets and lack of established trading best practices in this space, fully unattended program trading incurs significantly greater risks than in traditional markets. As a primary investment mandate of the Fund is to preserve capital, the additional return of full automation is outweighed by the small, but difficult to measure and potentially catastrophic risks.

The 20% return target is set based on the low end of performance from prior trading and historical backtesting. The best and most undeniable way to show performance, however, is with live results. One of the objectives of the Generational Fund pilot is to create a demonstrable track record of returns that investors can refer to.

The core concept is quite simple - buy a cryptocurrency from one exchange at a lower price and immediately sell at another exchange for a higher price. This can absolutely be done by any trader with accounts on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges, and indeed all potential investors are encouraged to attempt an arbitrage trade of their own to get a better understanding of the trading approach and its viability.

There are, of course, several complicating factors that make reliably profitable arbitrage out of the reach of most traders. The prospectus / white paper summarizes the advantages of institutional arbitrage over retail traders. To bring up one example, a major drag on arbitrage returns is exchange trading fees, and a number of exchanges offer reduced fees for high-volume traders. Over time, this contributes significantly to higher returns on institutional-scale capital.

Due to the complex regulations involved with raising funds across jurisdictions, the team faces a risk of adverse regulatory action if operating publicly, particularly as we are based out of the especially strict environment of the United States. However, we understand that investors expect to know who they are dealing with, so one of the founders is relocating for broader timezone coverage in trading activities as well as a more lax regulatory environment. The relocation should be completed within a week, after which point the website will be updated with his profile. While that person will be the public face of the company, the total team is comprised of 3 people with a mix of portfolio management and quantitative trading experience.

A bounty program is not in scope at this time. There are two primary reasons for this:

1) Any form of compensation from the bounty program would have to be drawn from fund returns. It would not be appropriate to impose a tax on returns from those who have contributed funds in order to make bounty program payouts.

2) Bounty programs largely do not attract the type of investor that Veritas Capital is interested in. They tend to draw participants with limited capital and understanding, neither of which is desirable.

When Bitcoin plunged in January, pricing gaps of nearly 10% emerged between exchanges as people rushed to sell without regard for best execution. Arbitrage is at its most profitable in times of turmoil.

What is strategy you have to provide guaranteed returns even in volatile markets too. I have big doubt this won't survive for long term this business model is looking like old fashion hype program and you will establsih this method on a ponzi method.

As the disclaimer on the opening post and every page of the website clearly states, returns are not guaranteed due to risks inherent in cryptocurrency trading. The prospectus discusses specific risks (exchange, regulatory, and so on) and their mitigations in more detail. What is true, however, is that arbitrage returns are uncorrelated to positively correlated with market volatility due to minimal to no price risk exposure. As currently structured, there is a 10% fee on returns up to the return target (20% monthly, or 5% weekly) and a 25% fee on returns in excess of the target. The fees are deducted from return distributions, so there is no action required of investors. Fees are only assessed on profit, never the capital invested. There is no fee for withdrawing invested funds.

The final pilot return distribution will commence shortly. Details on the official fund launch will be released later this week. Those invested in the pilot may reclaim their funds at any time, or commit to rolling over their investments to the Generational Fund full launch for incentives that will be explained in the aforementioned details.
