I am just building Nanofurys - just for time spending and gather solder experience.BTW: What is the actual price for a bitfury? What do you think? If I ever get some chips I'll probably start with a NanoFury or two, then I'd like to put together a 16x board like the Klondike (yes, I'm aware that's Avalon-based but still...). Once I get a good feeling for how the hashing process actually works I have a couple ideas for a new miner that I'd like to test. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's frustrating that I can't even work on a prototype because I can't get the chips. These guys who propose designs in the contests before the chips have even been released amaze me - no idea how they do it. I need something physical in hand to play with when prototyping. |
