Next batch is up: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=349787.0

Shipping label instructions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=339499.msg3741832#msg3741832

THIS GROUP BUY IS SOLD OUT. please do not send any more payments.  I will have to refund them, it's sold out.

This is a group buy.  I am placing the order with friedcat today for a sizable amount of Cubes.  Once I have tracking/shipping info from him, I will post here.
You should expect that the Cubes will ship to you Monday/Tuesday (a conservative estimate on my part but it's just that, an estimate).
If friedcat ships these out in the next day, they might arrive by Friday and I'll ship them Friday/Saturday to you.

One Cube is 1.0 btc.   more pictures are here (thank you yxt!!): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=335440.0

Payment address: 1LCz6NgE5MdmpKb328nGMjF5Z5TeKhxBqX

Payback analysis: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/fc7883b560 (DO YOUR OWN ANALYSIS!!! my assumptions may not be correct don't rely on them except for your own ALWAYS)

I anticipate being able to ship several units in a medium box and will have to experiment with large box once the units arrive.

Once the Cubes arrive, I will post shipping configurations so that you can send me a label.

I also think that the most effective way to ship 1 Cube will be a Region A box, which should be the most economical way for you to receive it.

~30 Gh/s guaranteed speed, with overclocking and proper cooling & power they can reach speads of 38Gh/s.
Spec power consumption, approximately 200W, and 280W+ when over-clocked
135.5 mm x 152.5 x 147.5

I have 49-port Hubs in stock @ .30 btc but I do not have any USB miners:

Some more pics of the 49 port hub are here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303640.msg3428585#msg3428585

no PMing me your shipping address as a signed message anymore.  You will sign 1 string only: tracking # of your label/s
friedcat's post is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.0
International buyers: please contact your respective re-seller: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.0

I provide The Fastest delivery to you, bar none!

This batch has a simple setup.  you pay 1 price, provide a label and I ship.  I don't care where you want me to ship it to (domestically).

You don't need to spend btc on shipping! spend USD instead and provide me with a shipping label you buy

how to create a shipping label by BorisAlt: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=277332.msg2971486#msg2971486 (shipping from zip 60181)

15.16TH/s - 15,161,963 MH/s MH/s producing, ASICMiner USBs and Blades have been distributed by me so far.

I am located 4 miles from a MAJOR DHL and FedEx hub that receives these orders from China.  My delivery times are the best.  packages sent to me by ASICMiner are in my hand the same day they enter US.  They do not take an extra day or two to travel the country to get to me.  It takes me 11 minutes to drive to DHL when necessary.   My location is in a major metropolitan area next to a LARGE international airport that is a hub for shipping for all delivery companies.  This gives me access to DHL, FedEx (also just 4 miles away, open till 9 PM for next day shipping).  I have access to several Post Offices around me.  I can ship USPS till 7 PM.  I ship to you the same day I receive my delivery.  Simply put, I am in the best position geographically and logistically to receive an order and to get it out to you ASAP.  Period.

Status updates:

2013-08-18: HOW TO SIGN A MESSAGE TO ME (YOUR SHIPPING INFO): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195647.msg2291965#msg2291965 Please NOTE: the above example is NOT the same as sending a signed message with your transaction. If you are new to this (aka noob), please read this so that you understand what to do.  This is the single most problematic step in the ordering process.  Here's how to sign a message with a blockchain.info wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=180068.0 Please verify the signed message yourself before you send it to me

how to send a shipping label:
you will essentially download a pdf label from usps and email it to canary.btc@gmail.com (email used for labels only, contact with questions via PM here)
in the body of the email, you will have 4 things:
1. transaction id of your order
2. 1st payment address of the transaction
3. tracking number (no spaces)
4. Signature (your will sign ONLY the tracking # from item #3)
additionally, if you use this method, you no longer need to PM me shipping address as a signed message.  trying to make things simpler for all.
I will check that the tracking number in item 3 matches the label exactly.
See post #2 below for an example.

Common Questions:
When will I receive my order? Answer: I ship out the same day I receive inventory from ASICMiner/friedcat.  I do reserve up to 1 day to get it done in case DHL delivers later in the day.

Can you confirm my order? Answer:  you can confirm your own order by looking up the transaction id of your payment.  if it has confirmations that is your confirmation that your funds were received.  This is what I would do to "confirm" your order.  bitcoin is designed in a way to allow you to confirm and see what you've done.

Folks and miners,

As announced in the Official ASICMINER Hardware Information (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270573.0) thread, I am a reseller in the USA of ASICMiner products.  International buyers, please contact your respective re-sellers.

Please Note:
Only send payments from an address you control (i.e. you can sign with it). If you send from MtGox or other exchanges, you risk loosing your funds since you can't prove you sent them. Please send from a wallet you can sign a message with.  You will send your shipping address via this method.

Policy update:
Refunds: Your orders are binding after your funds have been used to pay for an order.  Before that (while coins are piling up for the next batch), you can ask for a refund and will get it paid back in full. Understand that after you get refunded, I will not accept future orders from you.

----------------------

Ordering:

There is one common payment address: 1LCz6NgE5MdmpKb328nGMjF5Z5TeKhxBqX

To buy:

pick the number of ASICMiner Block Erupter Blades to order: N.
send the appropriate amount C=N * price  listed above. email me a label. I ship.

ensure the sending btc address is under your control, so you can sign with it in case of disputes

Shipment:
The USB miners/blades will be shipped to you same day I receive them but not longer than 1 day of me receiving them (just in case DHL has a very late delivery for ex.).

Communication:
I live in Chicago (CST time zone: UTC/GMT -5 hours) and have a day-job that allows me ample time to devote to this endeavor. I do sleep at night, so if I don't answer at night, please be patient.  I'm pretty open and transperant with info.  I post it as soon as I have it, I do not withhold from anyone.  Please respect everyone's time.

Cheers,

Canary

Canary,
You think it will fit in one of these?
http://about.usps.com/news/national-releases/2012/pr12_086.htm
I wouldn't recommend shipping it in a padded envelope at this point.
I'm hoping region A box will work, crossing my fingers...

So these have to be used with the Ethernet port?  Using the USB link is only for debugging and cannot be used to mine?

My router is pretty inconveniently placed to be accessed, and I am a bit of a noob when it comes to networking.  If I wanted to get a bunch of these and have them use Wifi to get on the internet what would be the easiest way to go about that?

AFAIK  You cannot sign a message using coinbase.
I would suggest you transfer your coinbase coins to a wallet you can control.   I recommend the Software wallet Bitcoin-QT only because I use it.    But there are other options such as web based or mobile phone wallets but there are some elevated security risks with those.

Here is a link to relevant material. http://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

You actually can now sign with Coinbase, though I also just found it myself.  Seems to work fine.

Go to Account Settings >> Bitcoin Addresses >> (Details) for your sending address >> "Click to sign a message with this address." at the bottom

Voila'!

I think I'm going to get one.  Just need someone to clarify that I must run a hardwire ethernet cable to it?  This might cause a problem since I want to keep it in the garage to use the winter air to cool it.

you can use something like this:
http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/powerline/
or any other functionally similar device.  but please test ahead of time, don't assume your electrical wiring is good enough.

Yes please.  That would be nice.  I've only done GPU alt-coin mining.

Is this a stand alone miner?  Or do you need to hook it up to a computer?

I'm going to be convincing my wife to let me buy one or two of these, but I'd like to know if I need to get anything else for it.  I have extra 350-450W power supplies that I can make work, but not sure if I need anything else or not...

That Netgear thing that Canary posted looks pretty cool, though, and I might get one of those anyways just because :D

Waiting on shipment from friedcat to distribute...

I didn't think "sizable amount" would be 17.
its not 17...

Sorry, when I looked at the address I thought it said 17.

Right on I got in in time.

Great price for this unit, can't wait to get it. If I didn't have btc possibly lost forever (but at least held up with) WeExchange and BTC-E withdraw delays I would have bought more.

Thanks!!

You actually can now sign with Coinbase, though I also just found it myself.  Seems to work fine.

Go to Account Settings >> Bitcoin Addresses >> (Details) for your sending address >> "Click to sign a message with this address." at the bottom

Voila'!

Hi Canary,

From a UK AM Cube group buy:

Looks like it's not DHL Fault, China Customs apparently are on high alert looking out for Miners as they know the value and what they can produce. Hopefully will clear customs soon.

Is this also going to be a problem for your orders? Any status update on the shipment from friedcat? Thanks.

Someone believable and somewhat scary. As far as I can gather business is done in China more on a "how much power do you wield, and how much do you know" basis much more than a "let's follow our legal guidelines" method of doing things.

Though that being said there is more than a couple of things getting shipped out of China daily (lol) and I can't imagine many customs guys know what Bitcoin miners are, though who knows, maybe if it's the same dude who processes all of FC's stuff then ya, feasible Mr Wang in shipping could 'know what's up'.

To be fair, Friedcat always declared the values insanely low for miners. I wouldn't be surprised if the government simply wants their piece of the pie when it comes to customs and tariffs...

I think the values he places on the invoices represent manufacturing costs which correct.

Hey Canary this is off topic but why is it that in China they have to get an exporter first and then lead to an DHL tracking. Always wondered why don't they just take it DHL direct and get the tracking.

I'll go out on a limb and say that DHL doesn't have the appropriate exporters' licenses to handle it, whereas the other companies are better suited to handle it.

you do that anywhere in the world if you want to concentrate on your business and don't wish to deal with shipping yourself.  you pay someone else who is an expert to do it for you so that you can concentrate on your core business.  companies do it all over the world, not in China only.

quite the opposite is true.  DHL rules the world in international shipments outside of US.  fedex and ups can't even clean DHL's shoes outside of US.  most people in US have no idea this is the case.

Per what I have read, that should be fine. I am getting 4, so I am going to hook 2 up to a 1000w and 1 to an 850w. Then I am going to split the last one with a 6pin from the 1000w and one from the 850w. I would like to keep a 200w buffer on both PSU's.

I miss Airborne xpress (sigh). DHL bought them then threw them under the truck. They always beat fed ex and ups for speed in this area.

Remember the ol days when you could order at 2:30am from mac connection and get it later that same day !!!

I think the shipping issue in china is "Payola" induced.

you can say that a Cube is 5 smaller, repackaged blades (physically).  once you power the Cube up using the two 6 pin connectors, plug in the ethernet and follow doggie's instructions.

-edit.  use bfgminer as the proxy, works very well with blades and cubes!

If you are using minepeon you can just have your startup settings as follows.

#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer --http-port 8330 -S all -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

Then point your blade / cube to the RPi's ip and that port. Thats how I have my stuff setup at this time.

that listing has it at 360W,    these still use the same chips as the v1 blade,  the v2 blade,

i dont really think 6 boards with 16 chips each will use less power than 3 boards with 32 of the same chips....

v1 blade overclocked uses 110w to 120W each....

Folks,
please read the below instructions carefully and please follow them.  if you don't your shipping will be delayed, guaranteed.

There are 4 orders of 2 cubes each: for these 4 orders please send a Region C box label. (weight 11 pounds)

those who have 4 cubes on order (3 such orders exist), please send 2 Region C labels 11 pounds each.

those with 6 cubes (3 such orders), please send 3 Region C labels 11 pounds each.

Do NOT send me a region C label for 1 cube, I will not ship 1 cube it in Region C box.

15x9x8

For a single Cube order: specify 6 pounds of weight and a box of 15x9x8 size.

I'm boxing all of the Cubes right now into boxes.  as your labels arrive they get shipped.

If you'd like your order to ship out today, please follow directions.  if you don't I probably won't ship yours until Friday.

Thanks!!

orders of 10+, contact me.

--edit: sorry for missing a note about orders of 3 cubes.  for those who ordered 3, you will send one Region C label (for 2 cubes) and 1 label for a single Cube shipment (from lines above).  basically an order of 3 cubes is same as order of 2 cubes plus an order for 1 cube.  thanks!

Its not under their "Flat rate" packages. You need to specify the weight of the package (along with your details), then click next to select the package type. It should be there.

I found that blade boxes, if you have any laying around, can perfectly fit 2 cubes out of their box but still in their styrofoam.

I was thinking about taking the cubes out of their packaging, but I figured that there will be at least 1 person complaining about this... so I ended up using the blade box per single cube.  there are other boxes that will fit a cube nicely but I haven't received them yet... oh well.
Thanks for the info though!!

so I ended up cancelling my earlier commitments to get as many of these as I could out.  The cubes just showed up today without having any tracking numbers ahead of time.

I got everything out that was properly signed per instructions.  they rest will go out Friday since tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
some of you have followed up with missing info but it didn't make it in time for the post office today.

below transactions have yet to ship (56 cubes where 40 belong to 1 recipient):

I got my Cubes today.  I was wondering if anyone else has this issue.

I have a working Corsair 1200i  Power supply, when I hook up 2 PCI cables to the cube and turn it on, the cube spins up,  then clicks and shuts off.  I have tried two cubes so far, the same thing on each.

Does anyone know a link to a power wiring diagram or troubleshooting guide to the new Cubes?

Cheers

**EDIT:  Never mind. once they warmed up to room temperature they worked fine.  I guess sitting in the 16 Degree cold triggers the overheat /underheat protection.  ;-)

Out of six cubes, I had one with a bad blade-- it showed a row of "xxx"s no matter which slot I put it in. I emailed asicminer.help@gmail.com on Dec. 6 about the single defective blade, and received no response.

Then I got home today and there was a package inside my door from Shenzhen. I actually thought to myself, "What the heck is this? I haven't ordered anything recently." But there was a replacement blade inside, and it works perfectly.

4 days, including the weekend, from the moment I emailed until the replacement blade arrived from China and was plugged in & hashing. Amazing. Amazing! Thank you CanaryInTheMine & friedcat. The ASICMiner legend grows.

How would they know you were a customer and your shipping address wasn't compromised?  Canary is technically the customer and has the order history.  He even requires signing mailing addresses/label numbers.

I just found it strange that he got no reply other than a new Cube at the doorstep...so you corroborate his story?
