Title: Gambling on the blockchain, whether it is necessary?
Post by: dimaklmn1 on April 25, 2018, 04:44:21 PM
Hello everyone! I am a developer and recently engaged in the development of gambling on the blockchain.

Increasingly, I have a question, is that necessary? Is there a demand from the players a fair gambling or they can easily trust online casinos and lotteries?

Also, taking this opportunity, I would like to know what kind of gambling you would like to see adapted to blockchain? What kind of gambling games would you play if you were sure of their independence and honesty?

Thanks in advance for your answers) your answers will certainly help me in my future endeavors!

In fact, now there are many projects that offer casinos and gambling on blockchain. Some of them have already launched their ICO, while others have launched full-fledged game platforms. Therefore, if you want to create a really good product, you will need to assemble a professional team and make high-quality advertising so that as many people as possible can learn about your project. If you have a team and a good idea, then you can run ICO and get marketing + funding + leads. Using blockchain technology is a prerequisite for creating an honest and transparent platform.

A lot of people gamble on blockchain, because this way gambling is anonymous while gamblers usually want to keep their occupation secret. As for the trust - well, there is scam even in blockchain-based casinos (sometimes they are not really provably fair, other times the owners just make other actions to rob people like not paying for big winnings). This will be a problem for you as a developer as well, since it is hard to gain trust of people for a new project when there are some casinos people already know and trust. If you go for smart contracts, make sure the fees and min bets aren't high.
As for the games - there are lots of dice and poker casinos. Perhaps, making a good roulette would attract people.

You said it right! We plan to launch ICO, under our products and the main purpose of fundraising will be marketing. We have a good team. I think soon we can surprise you with a very high quality product.

About anonymity is right))

We develop gambling games fully managed by smart contracts. We try to ensure that all processes are automated, thereby removing the opportunity to influence the situation. With this we want to earn the trust of our users.

Gambling ( casino, lottery ) always make people to make money or just for fun, you'll never lost demand. You can use blockchain technology to send - received payment. Every player know the risk and until now I only see payment problem. I like all gambling variety and if there's chance I'll join it.

Gambling on the blockchain, will help bring trust and fair winnings and also ensure that a winners profit is paid on time without hassles. It will also ensure that games are fair to everyone and it's not being manipulated by the casino owners. I think it's a good idea.

OK, that's good) I do see interest among the community. So we're not doing this in vain!

That's what we do! We want to make sure that players do not think about the independence and integrity of the results of the draws. Blockchain technology contributes to this!

Very interesting idea. Gambling has always been a big part of human society and I think it will remain so. If this is the case that implementing the crypto currency into it would be greatly beneficial in a long run.

The whole crypto is like a gambling for someone. I don't think that gambling can be fair and that it would be very popular among crypto communities. Just check the gambling projects that already held their ICOs, they didn't have any popularity. So I'm not sure that such idea can be profitable.

Personally, a provable ‘fair play’ system, which the blockchain can provide is a fantastic idea.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find online casinos fudging the odds in their own favour, so I would be much more likely to play on a blockchain-based casino.
