Title: ICO short time investment Post by: brawdias on April 26, 2018, 03:08:38 AM So usually when you buy tokens at ICO you sell right after the start, what do you guys think about this strategy, instead of investing only in top market cryptos ?
Title: Re: ICO short time investment Post by: dumplingsandsushi on April 26, 2018, 03:13:37 AM Right now is not really a good time to invest in an ico, especially for a quick flip.
Although the market has been good the last week or so, today's drop shows that there is still a lot of reluctance in the crypto market. It is hard to do a quick flip if there is not that much volume or demand. However, this doesn't mean that you can't buy the coins after they hit exchanges. There are a lot of icos where the price has fallen below ico levels after going to exchanges. I still believe there will be a bull run, probably in Mid may or so. So you can potentially buy some very recently released ico coins now for super cheap and flip it for a profit in late may/early june. As far as investing in the top coins go, that isn't really as profitable as people make it out to be. You would have to invest in a top coin that has real use potential and a product that has already gone to market. I have done some icos with that strategy and it was almost working on every time. But you should consider your first initial investment and the return of the price after it has already listed on the exchange site. I just joined on zilliqa and I have been walking out with more than 20x from my first initial investment. This hard to do because of you should have done a lot of research to determine how good that ico is. Title: Re: ICO short time investment Post by: Milansilver7 on April 26, 2018, 03:36:06 AM I want to try that strategy in my investment plan, I want to try to buy a token that is not listed on the top list, I will look for information about those tokens.
I spend a lot of time looking for those tokens, do you have any suggestions? Title: Re: ICO short time investment Post by: icohunter1024 on April 26, 2018, 06:20:32 AM Depending on the person and the strategy is appropriate, with an ICO analyst, this strategy is reasonable, as there are ICOs on the x5-x10 floor. But when the whole market falls, this strategy is not reasonable
Title: Re: ICO short time investment Post by: valnd on April 26, 2018, 06:31:19 AM It depends on you, it could be short time or long term or medium term. some get into ICO for a short time, other long or medium but for me, it depends on project, if it is a project that i really like and comfortable with it, I will go for long term otherwise, I will do short or mid term.
Title: Re: ICO short time investment Post by: leea-1334 on April 26, 2018, 06:42:23 AM Not a good strategy. You can never tell the performance of ICO tokens any more. Sometimes the free airdrops can even perform better than huge ICOs, particularly because this is the exact strategy everybody tries to perform. The listings are controlled, and the pricing of these by big whales and even bounty hunters. Beware of ICOs that do not sell out sometimes, developers can dump their tokens and cause price crashes.

I don't think it will work well. Nowadays it is really hard to buy token during ICO because you don't know what will be the ending of the project as some of the ICO's are like you will buy high and sell low because after the ICO the price are dropping down. Maybe wait a little longer to sell. |
