Title: 11Th/s For sale Bitfury
Post by: CroverNo01 on November 20, 2013, 10:53:00 AM
While on ebay seen someone selling 11Th/s of Bitfury boards

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HUGE-Bitcoin-mining-ASIC-RIG-25-x-Bitfury-Miner-Full-Kit-speed-11-TH-s-/221319977317?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3387b2d965

25X Bitfury

What would be the max price to pay for this ?

Also why would one sell so much when it could generate so much @ current rate.

Anyone confirm this seller ?

Simple. He will sell only for more then he believe it will ever mine, You will buy only for less then you believe it will ever mine.

Well a non-existant January delivery Hashfast Sierra just sold for $8500 on ebay, thats $2200 more than they actually cost on the web site.

do not buy, do not notify seller. this is highly likely stolen property belonging to labcoin victims. this seller will be reported to polizia.
if you bid you will be very likely receiving stolen property.

Not bad.  If figured the "market" price for this is about $181K by my rough math ordering hardware from asic-hardware.com

do people on this forum not read other people's comments?!!?

or does it not matter to them that this equipment is likely stolen?

I guess the correct statement here is: "Proof or stfu".

edit: was meant to be tongue-in-cheek :)

Alberto is the person behind the Labcoin Scam that stole more than 7000 BTCs (along with Alessia and Fabrizio Tatti). Many leads did confirm that.
The location of this equipment is Iglesias Carbonia, 20km from Barbusi (Alberto hometown).
As soon as it was reveal that the miner might belong to Alberto (ie labcoin shareholders), the listing was ended.

Draw your own conclusions as all this, of course, might just be circumstantial

The thing going for the credibility is that someone clever enough to get that hardware in the first place wouldn't be stupid enough to try and dump it all at once, mere miles from the crime site. Or, if someone is stupid enough to get that hardware....

Anyway, considering linear difficulty increase per period like 100kk, 120kk, 140kk, 160kk, etc..., with rates 0,2 usd/kwh and 750 usd/btc - profit would be something like 450kk in 6 months, pretty neat.
