Title: Where to buy bitcoins? (from europe)
Post by: milkthecow on November 20, 2013, 01:26:27 PM
I am bit confused where to buy my first bitcoins. Mt.Gox is evil by some posts - even though i dont know if they accept payments from europe. I want avoid localbitcoins to make deal to some unknown guy too. Do you have any advice where should i get bitcoins?

I haven't actually bought any myself, but doesn't localbitcoins have an escrow system, so in theory making it relatively safe, even if dealing directly with other people?

localbitcoins is still best option you can meet seller direct by mutual understanding and its more safe and better deal

If your from east europe then btc-e has useable deposit+withdraw options. Otherwise bitstamp I guess

I recommend btc-e its very clear and easy to use exchange.

btc-e wants all documents and have lengthy process for all these but still good and safe for all this btc business

Btc-e never required your ID, something changed recently with their policy ?

I worked successfully with bitcoin.de - maybe it's worth a try for you as well.

Hi, i also did my first transaction on http://localbitcoins.com/ with bank-bank transfert in my country. The seller show's me his name and there was also escrow system ...
The only problem is that you will sometime pay your bitcoin value a little more than on other trading place.

My experiences have been with Bittylicious and Localbitcoins. BitBargain is another option that is quick and easy if you have quick payments available. I can't guarantee that you won't have a bad experience, but I would say that they are reputable and seem to get the job done so that you can get investing and trading :)

localbitcoins is my choice. Try to find some trusted members on the buy sell currency section.

Try with localbitcoins.

Also, look for people who exchange btc with pm, wm, paypal etc.,

If you hae okpay account then you can use it to buy some bitcoins.
