I'm by no means, an expert in GPG and encryption, why I came here. So I wanna encrypt my private key in a text edit document and upload it in a wuala/drive account for maximum mobility. Since I'm not aware of my PGP Public key, I was wondering if I could just encrypt with a passphrase. By not having it encrypted with a key pair, but a passphrase only, I don't rely on the GPG and I would be able to retrieve it on any computer. Also, if GPGtools.org were to disappear before I'm claiming my private key, would I be able to download any encryption client and access it?
