Title: Slush's new Captcha Post by: Sir Alan on November 20, 2013, 05:07:33 PM Hi everybody.
My very first post concerns the captcha which has just appeared on Slush's web site log-in page. I was under the impression that these Satanic devices were intended to be solvable by humans but not computers. Now it seems they are designed to prevent human access as well! I was unable to log in using my tablet: the captcha is utterly unreadable. On my laptop it took five attempts, and I think my eventual success was mainly luck. I do understand the need to keep the scrotes out, but surely there must be a better way which does not also keep out legitimate users.
