I am looking forward to invest 500€ either in Ethereum or Neo. I have a big stock of different cryptocoins (quite a few Ether and other Alts) and now my question is shall I stock up my Ethers or invest in Neo? Also with regard to future developments. Any reccomendations?

Invest in neo, ethereum is much more mature platform than neo so investing in neo may be more profitable compared to lower risky ethereum investing. Chart of neo looks good now.

However that doesn't mean that ethereum can't make huge gains. The ATH is an 100% increase from the actual price and as you said it's not a very risky investment. I'd rather invest in something with low risk than NEO just because it could be big.

why do you think that neo is more than interesting than ethereum? you are not right my friend, ethereum has been in here for more than two years, while neo has only been in here for a year, or less. That is why i trust more in ethereum.

I prefer Neo if I have to choose between two. However I recommend you buying new and cheaper coins. Simply because they have more increasing potential because of their low price and they are quite better than these two coins because they are new technology. I recommend Wancoin, Zilliqa or Ontology

Invest in both. 50/50 or 35/65 for NEO.

Because ETH have the inertia of a thousand projects and NEO is gaining strength every day.

On that account, I agree with you. Better not limited to one good coin. So I invested 40/60 % for ETH/NEO

To be honest, i love NEO, but i prefer ETH over it, we all know that ethereum is more known in the industry.

Also, we all know how transparent ethereum transactions are, and i think that i feel much more confortable while using eth instead of neo.

NEO has lack of security.

According to the current market situation, when the market tends to increase, with 500 euros, equivalent to about $650 you can invest in NEO because the current price of NEO is $77 and ETH is $ 659 by Coinmarketcap. So with $650, you will buy 8.45 NEO, but with ETH you can only buy 0.9 ETH. Therefore, if you want to make a high profit in the future, invest in NEO.

NEO, You will get passive income
Ethereum, you will get massive demand
But i guess re-consider again to invest on both of crypto tokens right now consider about the fact you are investing in the bullish trend if you are purring your money this time.

It was depends on what you're looking for, if you are looking for faster profits then investing in Neo could be the best option, however if what you're looking for is to make a very safe investment then when it comes to altcoins the safest investment is ethereum there is no coin that comes close to it and yet the profits that you can get out of it are decent because you are investing when the price is kind of low.

Mate, sorry for this, but i would not invest that amount of money on cryptocurrencies at this moment, 500 euros is not a big deal, and if you are just a newbie, you can easily lose all your money in less than a few days

Neo are building quality as challengers of other coins, they deserve to be glanced, they have good selling power, if I have to choose, I prefer ethereum, ethereum is better than Neo in any case.

both are pretty good and have great potential for success. the only problem just might be affecting the capital. NEO or ethereum is perfect for the long term. but for the ethereum I think slightly stronger.

Neo is a great coin and I know currently there is a news about Ethereum that does not sounds good but I think Ethereum is still the safest bet. Ethereum has already established itself in the crypto world. Also Ethereum has still a lot of room to grow and still the coin that has a potential to be the number one coin if you base it in coin market cap. 

I chose 50/50 only.
seems fair if for example: Ethereum first rise in price. then sell when the price is high. and back to NEO to buy.
after that wait for NEO prices to rise.

Ethereum for sure, I would no invest $5 in neo while there is great ethereum. Neo has risen in value by speculation while ethereum has risen by true development.

While you can argue that, ICO's on Neo are only starting to come out the last few months. If we see a big burst on ICO's on the NEO platform like we did on Ethereum I am sure (looking at the MCap differences between Ethereum en NEO) NEO has a big possibility of growth in the next months/year.

Of course. These 2 coins are included in the top-5 of my coins which I try to buy after each fall.

I think you won't go wrong with any of them. Both ETH and NEO have a lot of space for growth it just depends on your preference.

I think ETH and NEO very perspective investing

Both are the good coin for long-term investment, see many people know both of them has some similarities with the blockchain. Many people saying NEO is built for future smart contracts and ETH has already potential in the market which can easily increase its price more than 2000$ this year.

I have put money into both. There are a couple of reasons why I lean more toward Neo right now. For one thing, Etherium has already had its huge initial growth and I think Neo may still have big gains coming. Secondly, if you hold Neo, you gain Gas which is almost like gaining interest or a dividend. You can then reinvest that back into Neo to give you compounding interest.

investing in eth now will still continue to make a big profit, because now it eth etasi will continue to experience high enforcement. so do not worry to keep investing in eth.

if you want more revenue . it's best to choose NEO . there are a lot of good projects on the neo platform , such as KEY ONT . now the price of neo is $77 . by July , it will cost more than $150 .

about theoritical, the value of ETH is much higer than NEO, so it always defeat NEO at financial market, but talking about the poteantial to rise and develope in next few years, then NEO is a good long term invesment for all of us, not only NEO was born after ETH but it is made as chinese ETH with extremely high advancement for its own blockchain. NEO can process much more transactions in just a second faster than ETH, and the capicity to deal with many transactions at a moment is also larger than ETH, then we can see NEO is a great invesment for long term.

Long term I will invest only in Ethereum because it is the biggest and the most busy blockchain platform. I think NEO has a lot of room to go but I prefer Stratis or Lisk instead. NEO is very dependent on China and this factor can play a big role in the future. It seems that China is slowly changing their attitude towards cryptocurrencies. NEO could get huge in this situation (next few years).

There is no way to know if neo is going to have bigger gains compared to ethereum. Just because ETH has a bigger marketcap it doesn't mean NEO is ever going to get there. Ethereum is better, objectively speaking, than NEO. I would rather invest in something with low risk like ethereum and make less gains than NEO.

if we concentrate only Neo and Eth is it enough holding both the coins we can get five times to ten times returns hopefully if there is no slow down of crypto market like the one which we are facing

Both are one of the best coins in the crypto market and i would like to hold both of these coins with me...but talking of one of them then my first choise would surely be ethereum...second best coin after the bitcoin for sure and i would trust it more than any other coin

Both coins are good, I am sure that investing in etheruem or neo makes not much difference in the short term, you should analyse the projects for the long term and make decision by looking at their roadmap.

Ethereum better. Market seems to be on recover mode. Ethereum could goes up to range $1000 - $1200. Especially we are near to proof of stake or hybrid consensus of ethereum. Vitalik and his team made the proposal already. And if no major bug we could probably see ethereum on hybrid in december. Many institutional entity and personal investor will hold their ethereum.

with 500€ than you may want to have short term profit, it would be great if you choose to invest in ETH with that amount of money because ETH has a high volume so it can be pumped faster and and higher than compared to NEO, but if you want to invest for long term then NEO will be a good choice, NEO has just been born recently and has been a huge success of chinese's cryptos, there are many people said it's like ETH but much more advanced than ETH, the potential of NEO is too big that it may become the most profitable altcoin in the future.

I am always laughing  at those people who think that they can make millions out of a few dollars, $500 is nothing on this market, you can not invest them and think that you will make $10000 in one month out of them.

guys, uniquely the etherium has the most beneficial prospects for each of us. Perhaps other projects also have better investments for us, but I want to support the etherium and expect the investments to grow several times, as the price is expected to be above $ 1000.

ETH is more expensive, you can buy more NEO with same money. When price moves you will see lower one will be more profitable.
ETH is also rose crazy past 2 years. NEO still have some place to grow. So I pick NEO over ETH for current situation.

NEO and ETH are both the platforms for smartcontracts and ICO. Neo is a competitor to ethereum but in China, but there is one drawback, it's Chinese legislation. One hard law and NEO can fly down, although its potential for this year is more than ETH. For NEO i wait 400-500$, for ETH - 1200-1500$.

Invest in both if you can’t figure out which coin you would want to buy because those two coins have great potential and are really good coins for long term investment if you ask me so I’d spend my money on those two coins instead of just one.

It seems to me that both coins can grow significantly. And so I invested in both projects. This reduces the risk of loss.

I have both for now, it's because I believe, Neo and ethereum will be much more expensive when the world cup in Russia later, but if I have to choose, I'm more confident the ethereum will be better

Remember ethereum has already released the more detail about casper pos system and the minimum amount for someone to staking their ethereum to the network has already releaased. It looks like POS and hardcap for total supply is real and it will worth a lot compared with NEO. In this game with a better adoption compared with NEO and ethereum should become a winner.

In the current market situation, Eth and Neo are most potential coins in terms of growth both the coins pose to growth holding both the coins give us profits this year

I always considered 3 different coins naming ethereum, eos and neo to be bought at the same time. But I just guess its better to buy neo because its so much cheaper and even underpriced comparing to other two coins.

Ethereum is a 2nd rank and still good project .
but NEO will boom in this year bcoz of new ICOs are coming on NEO platform and also bcoz of its effectiveness and free gas , it is more suitable for high number of transactions .
so choose NEO .

In my opinion, I think that Ethereum and Neo are an acceptable cryptocurrencies for investment in order to guarantee a great profit, due they are in the top 10 on the market, but you must invest in the appropriate time (when there is a crisis or big drop). Thus, the large financial budget for investment is not important when their timing is wrong. and for me, maybe this is a good opportunity to invest a large proportion of money in many cryptocurrencies, because it is expected that after a few weeks, the market will jump especially when Bitcoin will rise with a huge value.

Furthermore,   I advise  you to invest in some cryptocurrencies who has a big value of market cap ( more than 3 Billion dollars )  and a weak price ( less than 5 Dollars ), Also, you should focus and do not rush to choose currencies .Because you may regret it if you make a mistake.
In fact, I like your budget 500 £, So this is  the best way to ensure a good profit :

200£ to invest in Ripple.
100£ in Tron.
100£ in Cardano.
50£ in IOTA.
50£ in Nem.

you could have them, both of them are good coins. I personally suggest to have more portion for ETH in your portfolio than NEO. if you like risk, then keep neo more than eth.

After I see my NEO platform so interested to save NEO as a long term asset. maybe NEO would be able to compete with the ETH.project just turned out wearing platform REALISTA NEO

I would recommend you invest in both. You should divide your investment into two parts and buy both of them. But, I strongly believe that Neo has got more potential compared to Ethereum. Neo is a Chinese project and all depends how its development goes in China. If it does well in China then it would peak in future.
